About the programme

The Origin Cargo Management programme is designed to do several things: coordinate and manage the booking and shipment of goods from factories at origin; optimise smaller shipments by consolidating the goods from multiple factories in our consolidation facilities at origin; enable booking of space and containers with your nominated ocean carriers; manage the documentation and information; and provide you with visibility on the process.

Based on your purchase orders, Damco will receive and coordinate bookings with your factories or vendors.Damco will coordinate and consolidate smaller shipments at a warehouse close to the factories.Direct shipments will be coordinated for larger shipments.Damco will arrange booking of space and containers with your nominated carrier and provide the shipping instructions for the carrier bill of lading.Documents from nominated carriers and vendors are collected and dispatched to facilitate the delivery process at destination.

Damco organizes the necessary customs and security compliance formalities.Track-and-trace and reporting can be accessed via myDamco to track key events and activities.
