MANAGEMENT GAMES

Student along with faculty members of AIMS International Agra Chapter from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Management enjoyed a one day session of learning with fun. The members organized a one day outbound tour to instill the concept of education through games. The tour was organized for visit at Raman Reti and Akhsay Patra in Mathura and Vrindavan

respectively. Various management games were organized for the members, some of them are as follows:

Team Building Games- where members were divided into teams randomly and were given tasks to be done within a specified time frame. This called for the practical applications of the concept of leadership, teamwork and cooperation at group work.

Human chain- here the teams tried making the longest chain by making use of many innovative ideas like using the articles around them, clothes etc. The team with the longest chain and the most innovative idea became the winner.

Communication Games- Here every team was given a communicated a common story line, whereby the teams were judged on their interpretations and perceptions of the complete story based on incomplete communication at the former stage.

This outbound activity gave practical insights to the theories and concepts learnt and taught by the members since theory and practical application of concepts are an integral part of management studies. Chapter Director- Col.(Dr.)C.K.Singh and Chapter Secretary-cum- Treasurer Mrs Pooja Prakash along with other members – Mr. Shantanu K. Sahu, Mrs. Gunjan Bhatnagar, Mr. Tejinder Jeet Singh and Ms. Pooja Chaudhary also participated in the tour.
