MANAGING ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Managing Accounts Payables with our suppliers, are built on stringent policy finance framework, it enables the business to

sPck to the agreed terms of payment, including length of Pme given to clear the balance. However, Green WoodBridge

Holding Limited clears the payment within 7days of receipt of invoice, ajer the invoice is matched against the purchase

order raised, including records both paperback and electronic, copy is taken with every transacPon that pass our hand, and

filed away .

The purchase order report enables the business to closely monitor the cash-‐flow posiPon at any point Pme in the year, the

very essence of this covers, Performance ReporPng, this involves monitoring and taking acPons on the following areas,

outstanding invoices payments, Ageing of outstanding invoices waiPng payment i.e 1-‐30 days, 30-‐60 day, +. i.e when the

payment are due, Volume, Value, and compare with accumulaPve VAT control account. This data is compared with the

credit report from agency, credit expert every quarter x 4, to stay in control and on top of finances.

Managing Accounts Payable business account, has a direct impact on our business VAT Control account, can determine the

profit posiPon at any point in the year, also what is deferred into the following year.

Managing Accounts Payables also age accounts payable posiPon (what our business owe to your suppliers). Now, this

helps us plan whom to pay and when. Paying too early depletes your cash in the bank, however, paying late can cost you

valuable dearly, i.e. discounts offers, and damage our credit. (Hint: If you know you will be late making a payment, call the

creditor before the due date. It tends to relax and keep everyone cool.)
