NCDPI Moodle (www.moodle.learnnc.org) Voiced Concerns from Field TestVocabulary lists provided are minimal & inadequate.I wanted to get my voice in that I find the course to be very valuable, especially for freshmen who are attempting to grow into an awareness of self and the world around them. I consider supplied materials to be a starting point and I love that I can add to it based on the needs of the class. I feel it is one of the most interesting and valuable courses to teach!Every objective needs vocabulary list, PowerPoints, and instructional activities to support the curriculum.I believe students would like more practical understanding with real examples and opportunities to engage in career situations early on. Consistency - 1.01 through 3.05. Everybody should start with the same PowerPoints and same resources. From a classroom teacher's perspective, I find this course to be very difficult to decipher. It is so time consuming to filter through [the materials], I find myself frustrated and at wits end. I feel the level of instruction my students are receiving as a result of the curriculum has been compromised and frankly substandard. My students complain about how boring the subject matter is and how much common sense that it is and they don 't understand why I give them so much work because of it. I cannot find anything that makes the course more enjoyable, entertaining, or attentive. The upper level students are completely bored and the lower level students are over whelmed by the content work load. I am having issues find the resources.Cites multiple career information resources which no longer exist or are antiquated. My issue is that I am having a problem keeping enough engaging work for students for 90 minutes a day 5 days a week. There doesn't seem to be a set vocabulary for each objective in the curriculum. We need access to the MBA resources. There is not enough material. The course content has been cut done so much that it is not sufficient for a semester. The course content also does not provide enough rigor requiring teachers to search outside of the content for material that will challenge students. To wrap up, I would like to remind you where to locate the State Connection on the MBA research website. Once you select your state, the resource options will appear. 10Materials Galore!https://goo.gl/b7UIjN (Case sensitive)
