Our event rooms retain many of the original features reflecting the hotel’s Victorian Façade. Our John Logie Baird Suite is perfect for Gala Dinners with a maximum capacity of 240 guests and with multimedia and sound facilities we have the flexibility to dress the room to suit your needs.

Our Charity Dinner packages start from £24.00 per person for a 3 course seated meal, room hire with set up and dance floor, private bar and red carpet.

The John Logie Baird Suite can host a variety of events for your charity fund raising; with bespoke room hire packages tailored to suit your needs.

The suite is an ideal room for a charity fashion show, we have hosted numerous fashion shows and worked together with external suppliers who offer discounted rates for charities, to make your event a success.

Give your taste buds a treat with our revamped afternoon teas with a twist; whether you are sweet or savoury there is something for everyone. Our traditional tea includes a delicate collection or sandwiches, open rolls and wraps and tantalising desserts of eton mess, salted caramel macaroons and chocolate mousse; not forgetting fruit scones with clotted cream and jam. Our Gentleman’s Tea is perfect for those who prefer something savoury consisting of a mini marriott burger, an individual steak pie with gravy, fish and chips with condiments, cheese scones with cream cheese and red pepper relish and to finish a chocolate brownie and a mini Manchester tart. Prices start from £16.95 per person, or we can tailor an afternoon tea to suit your event.

Being a hidden gem in the city, the V&A has the outdoor facilities to be able to host barbecues in those hot summer months!

If you prefer a private setting, our Victoria Suite has private access to the terrace through large French doors and can hold from 50-100 people for a barbecue.

Alternatively, our outdoor terrace area is perfect for bigger barbecues with the indoor bar lounge area for extra space.
