• Only add driver to composer after you have completed all settings on the Camera

Setting up Camera

Common Settings Not checked or Noted

❖Not Checking that all cameras are on line

❖Not configuring the sub stream and setting it H264

❖Not setting to correct resolution

❖Not checking upload speed (requires at least 12mb per second for you to see camera on navigator remotely)

❖Not setting the IP of Camera to Static

Setting up Stream on Camera

❖The main stream is preset

❖Substream should be set no higher than 1280 X 720

❖Set FPS to 15

❖Set Bitrate to 1024 kbps

Setting up Network on Camera

❖Set the Camera IP to Static

❖Set DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

❖Please note the IP address you have set

Check Ports on NVR

❖HTTP port is 80

❖RTSP port is 554

❖Please note if you change ports

Control 4 Driver Settings

Common Settings Missed

❖Forgetting to click on set button

❖Not putting in the correct port number for RTSP

❖Not clicking Authentication required

❖Not setting the correct login and password for NVR/DVR

❖Not setting Camera Channel Number

❖Not adding another copy of driver for each camera
