    Outlook for December

    Despite the distraction of holiday festivities the Manhattan Beach real estate market produced fairlyrespectable stats in November, with 4.4% or $92.5K increase in the market median sales price and24.9% bump in the sales/listing ratio. Trending counter to this news, however, included a 12.5%reduction in total properties sold and 23% drop in new listings. Am I surprised? you ask. Not at all; in

    fact, I speculated this likelihood would occur last month. Furthermore, given this data and the time ofyear I expect to see similar performance numbers for December.
