Founded over Three decades ago, in

1985, in Hirehalli Industrial Area, about 60

kms north-west of Bangalore, the

Information Tech. Capital of INDIA.

Promoted by the current Chairman, Mr. Y

GHOUSE KHAN (Engineer with a Masters

Degree from Rutgers University, USA) a

first Generation Entrepreneur with over

Three decades of experience in

engineering industry.

Humble beginnings, as a Small Scale

Enterprise, equipped with just 2 Die

Casting machines, to supply Raw

Castings and housed in a 5,000 sq. Feet

building on a 1 acre plot.

WHAT WE DO - Tool Design / Manufacture / Maintenance

Advanced CAD/CAM Software for Design and Simulation, Rich

experience of 2 decades of having handled a wide variety of

Components, latest CNC Machining Techniques and ample

amount of common sense are some of the important

ingredients that going into our Design and Manufacture of the

Tooling.

The outcome are Tools that ensures Maximum Productivity,

Minimum Rejects, Minimum Secondary Operations, Extended

Tool Life and Ease of Maintenance through out the life of the

Tool.

A well established and documented Tooling Maintenance

Procedure ensures that the Tools stay as good as new, shot

after shot.

A Comprehensive Tooling Replacement plan reviewed every

quarter ensures that Tools are replaced well in advance,

avoiding serious Production and Quality related issues.

A Total of 22 nos. of a wide range of Die Casting machines (14

in Tumkur Unit 1 and 8 in Ranipet Unit 2 gives Chamundi

very good flexibility in being capable to manufacture a

comprehensive assortment of parts.

The collection of machines available as of now is given below.

Capacity to produce castings in the weight range of

aprox. 20 grams to 6.0 kilograms.

Installed Capacity is aprox. 8,000 Tons of Castings per

annum (4,000 Tons @ Unit1 & 4,000 Tons @ Unit 2)

Present production is around aprox. 5,500 Tons per

annum (Aprox. 3,000 Tons @ Unit 1 & 2,500 Tons @ Unit 2)

In house CNC Machining facility give Chamundi

the advantage of being a “One-Stop-Shop” for

Customers.

The CNC Machining section is equipped with a

battery of 87 CNC machines, consisting of a

wide variety of machines including VMC’s /

Turning Centers / TMC’s / Twin Spindle - Turning

Centers & VMC’s) , enabling Chamundi to supply

fully Finished Machined Components to

customers.

Our sister concern under the name

‘PRECICOMP’ converts bright – bars into turned

parts using single spindle automats, which are

used as steel inserts during Die Casting or for

subsequent Sub-Assembly Operations, taking us

a step ahead in the One-Stop-Shop Concept.
