Air/Oil SeparatorWhen plumbed into the vehicle’s

positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system, the separator captures excess crankcase vapors and the residual oil mist and prevents it re-entering the intake track. Most vehi-cles use a factory sytem to vent excess crankcase vapors and oil mist right back into the intake manifold which can cause detonation and harmful oil deposits to form in the intake track and even on the valves. The body of the sepa-rator is an attractive billet aluminum unit which can even be polished, chromed or powder coated for a custom appear-ance. Both programmers can act as scan tools for reading and clearing trouble codes and connect directly to the OBDII port to read and display eight of the dozens of parameters at a time. more tunability and can produce a minimum of six different boost pressures on the same spring without a boost controller. The dia-phragm is eliminated and up to 15 built-in boost settings control fl ow. Advanced, engineered materials provide everything needed to control 4-25 PSI of boost. A combined effort by Callies’ CNC programming and engi-neering staffs has resulted in a component that is distinctive and highly functional. Unique counterweight and rod arm contours produce a lightweight, aero-effi cient crankshaft. Many BBC crankshafts are counterweighted to offset simple balance forces detected at main bearings 1 and 5 by today’s precision balancers. Callies Series II Magnum Mass Correct counterweights have been placed specifi cally to reduce bearing loads. By concentrating mass at the point of imbal-ance, the transfer of rotating and reciprocating assembly weight loads to non-adjacent main journals is limited. Lighter overall weight is an added benefi t of Mass Correct counter weighting, resulting in improved throttle response.
