Rhapsody of Realities… A DAILY DEVOTIONAL

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, anholy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forththe praises of him who hath called you out of darkness

into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).

AAliteral interpretation of our opening verse wouldmean that the new creation is one who was called

out of darkness into God’s marvellous light, meaning he had apast of darkness. This, however, isn’t true, because the newcreation never existed before, and therefore couldn’t have apast. He has a new life.

The idea of the new creation having a past is mostlycommon amongst believers who merely see the Christian as“a sinner saved by grace”; one who was once under thepower of Satan, but now free to serve God. However, as yougrow in the knowledge of the Word of God, you’ll discoverthat being born again, you’re not one who was taken fromthe hands of Satan and delivered into the hands of God;you’re actually a new creation. You’re not the man that was indarkness; that man actually died with Christ. You were borninto His marvellous light.

Acts 13:33 tells us something beautiful; it reads, “God“Godhathhath fulfilledfulfilled thethe samesame untounto usus theirtheir children, children, inin thatthat hehe hathhathraisedraised upup JesusJesus again;again; asas itit isis alsoalso writtenwritten inin thethe secondsecond psalm, psalm,ThouThou artart mymy Son,Son, thisthis dayday havehave II begottenbegotten thee.”thee.” God didn’tsay, “Thou art my Son, this day have I raised thee back tolife” no; rather, He said, “This day, I have given birth to you(begotten thee).” When Jesus died, He died in the spirit; that’swhy He’s called the first begotten from the dead (Revelation1:5), not the first to be raised from the dead. When He wasraised from the dead, He was raised a new creation.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; andwith the mouth confession is made unto salvation

(Romans 10:10).

“Heart” in the above verse refers to the human spirit; that’sthe core of your nature—the real you. You’re a spirit being. When you were born again, you received the life and natureof God into your spirit; the forces of life are domiciled inyour spirit. This is why you have to nurture and develop yourspirit, because it’s through your spirit that you make contactwith God. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep“Keep thythy heartheart (spirit) withwith allalldiligence;diligence; forfor outout ofof itit areare thethe issuesissues ofof life.”life.”

God’s light is in your spirit. He directs and guides youfrom your inner man. Your spirit is the candle of the Lord(Proverbs 20:27); that’s where the Word of God illuminates. The inward man was created to receive, believe, and act onGod’s Word. When your spirit acts on the Word, that’s faith, for faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word ofGod.

Constantly feed and nurture your heart with the Wordof God. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but byevery word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew4:4). When your spirit is cultured and nurtured by the Word,it impacts your mind! Your mind becomes renewed andprogrammed to think victory, success, and excellence only.

The highest potential of the human nature is in thehuman spirit, not the mind. When the Bible says, “…the“…the glorygloryofof thethe LORDLORD isis risenrisen uponupon thee”thee” (Isaiah 60:1), it refers to theglory in your spirit, in the core of your nature. The perfections,

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; andwith the mouth confession is made unto salvation

(Romans 10:10).

SSome Christians are agonized because their personalexperiences don’t seem to be in sync with the

realities and provisions of the Gospel, even though they“believe” the Word of God. That you believe the Worddoesn’t mean it’s going to work for you. Believing isn’tenough. It’s like having faith and not using it; it’s not going towork; you must use your faith for it to produce result.

As the principle in our opening verse reveals, eventhough you’ve believed the Gospel and are made right withGod, you may not enjoy the benefits of salvation andrighteousness until you act on the underlined portion of theopening text. Your confession is what catapults you into thevital experience of salvation, meaning that your mouth-workis important. Your mouth was given to you to say the rightthings that’ll direct the course of your life, beginning withsalvation: “With the mouth, confession is made untosalvation.”

The word translated “confession” is the Greek“homologeo” which means speaking the same thing inconsent; to say the same thing in agreement with God. WhenGod says something, you respond by speaking in line orin agreement with what He has said. You must do this toexperience the blessings of His Word in your life.

God gave us mouths so we can vocalize and use HisWord to mould and shape our lives and destinies, in thedirection of His perfect will. His Word requires your response

all the time. Your response is what you say, because of whatHe has said: “…for“…for hehe hathhath said…Sosaid…So thatthat wewe maymay boldlyboldly say…say… ”(Hebrews 13:5-6). If the principle works for salvation, it’ll alsowork for everything that’s based on salvation: deliverance, protection, healing, preservation, prosperity, wellness, wholeness, etc. Therefore, don’t stop at believing; vocalizeyour faith and act accordingly.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worshiphim in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

WWhen we talk about worship, there’re those whodon’t understand what it is. They wonder, “Who

do you worship?” “Why do you worship?” “What are thebenefits of worship?”

Worship is the recognition and appreciation of thegoodness, blessings, kindness and righteousness of God. It’sthe recognition, appreciation or confession of His character. For example, when you give thanks to God and say, “Lord, you’re good; you’re kind; you’ve blessed me; you’rerighteous,” etc., you’re defining, recognizing, andappreciating His character.

God likes it when you worship Him like that because itshows who He is in your life; it separates Him from everyoneelse and from everything else. When you thank Him for Hisgoodness, provisions, blessings, and all the wonderful thingsHe’s given you, and done for you, you’re attributing thosebeautiful works to Him. The necessary result is that He’ll domore in your life.

Furthermore, worship brings to us a greater revelationof God. This is why we worship God and not men, angelsor things. Neither men nor angels have the capacity or abilityto reveal themselves beyond what they themselves canperceive. You can’t grow spiritually from knowing an angelor another human being; no human can reflect you to you, because every human being is unique to himself. But infellowship, God reveals Himself to you, and in that process,He reveals you to you, and also reveals your future, your life, your personality, your value and then His purpose for your

life. That’s why when you study the Bible and read of men

and women who encountered God, they all had a divinerevelation of God’s purpose for their lives, an understandingof the future that God was leading them into, and a revelationof God Himself. Thus, worship for us is something much morethan a form, a ritual or mere religious activity. When weworship God, there’s true recognition, a true perception, andreal encounter with Deity.

When you’re in church and it’s time for worship, orwhen you worship in your closet, give it your attention;worship the Lord in reality, with this understanding.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to theword of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to

give you an inheritance among all them which aresanctified (Acts 20:32).

TThe concluding part of the verse above says theWord is able to “give you” an inheritance among

them that are sanctified. The Spirit of God, through theApostle Paul, wrote this to the Church. Why would He say thisto Christians who already have an inheritance in Christ Jesus?

The reason is clear. First, understand that He wasn’ttalking about the ownership of the inheritance, but theinheritance being delivered into your hands. Yes, legally, allthings are yours in Christ Jesus, but there’re rebel holders ofauthority—Satan and his cohorts—who often try to sway God’speople from enjoying their inheritance. Now, Paul, by theSpirit, declares that the Word of God is able to literally deliveryour inheritance into your hands, to enjoy, irrespective of theactivities of the adversary.

This spells absolute joy, fulfilment and glory for us inChrist Jesus! It simply means your prosperity and blessingsaren’t dependent on whether or not your parents or forebearsbequeathed any inheritance to you! In Christ, you haveobtained an inheritance: “Giving“Giving thanksthanks untounto thethe Father,Father, whichwhich hathhath mademade usus meetmeet toto bebe partakerspartakers ofof thethe inheritanceinheritanceofof thethe saintssaints inin light”light” (Colossians 1:12). Peter describes thatinheritance as incorruptible, untainted, unsullied, and eternal(1 Peter 1:4).

Something beautiful to also note is that the Spirit didn’t

Your Inheritance Through TheWord

SUNDAY

say the Word will apportion an inheritance to you, but thatit’ll “deliver” the inheritance to you. In other words, as youmeditate on the Word, the blessings thereof become evidentin your life! No wonder the Bible says, “Meditate“Meditate uponupon thesethesethings;things; givegive thyselfthyself whollywholly toto them;them; thatthat thythy profitingprofiting maymayappearappear toto all”all” (1 Timothy 4:15). Let your conversation be without covetousness; and becontent with such things as ye have: for he hath said, Iwill never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we mayboldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear

what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6).

IIn our opening text, the Spirit gives an importantcounsel at the beginning of the fifth verse. He says let

your manner of life be without covetousness, and be contentwith what you have. He could have stopped there, but Hedidn’t. Rather, He went further to tell us the reason He madethe statement in the first place, which we find in theconcluding part of verse five: “for“for hehe hathhath said, said, II willwill neverneverleaveleave thee, thee, nornor forsakeforsake thee.”thee.”

Again, He could have stopped there, and that wouldhave meant He just wanted us to see a promise, which wouldstill have been nice. Howbeit, He goes to the next verse andreveals something even more profound; He said, “So“So thatthat wewemaymay boldlyboldly say, say, TheThe LordLord isis mymy helper, helper, andand II willwill notnot fearfear whatwhatmanman shallshall dodo untounto me.”me.” That changes everything! It’s not justa promise anymore; a principle is being revealed. He basesthe counsel on a principle. The principle is: “God has said, sothat you may boldly say….”

God gave us His Word, so that you may boldly saysomething in response and in consonance with what Hehas said. That’s what changes your life. The promise doesn’tchange your life; the principle does. And the principle doesn’tcome into operation, until you act on it.

In applying the principle, you’re not to merely “quote”what God has said. Our theme verse doesn’t say, “He hath

said, ‘I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee, so that wemay boldly say, ‘I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee’”;no! He didn’t say quote it back. Speaking the same thingin consent means giving your personal faith-response to theWord, on the basis of your accurate understanding of, andconfidence in, what God has said. It means giving a responsethat’s consistent with what He has said. That’s the principle;and that’s what transforms your life. Hallelujah!

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to theword of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to

give you an inheritance among all them which aresanctified (Acts 20:32).

NNotice the opening verse doesn’t say, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word

of his judgment…”; or “…to the word of His anger…”; no! Itsays, “…I commend you to God, and to the word of hisgrace….” What is grace? It’s God’s loving-kindness, bestowingunconditional blessings and favours, even to the undeserving.

Grace is the awesome beauty of God’s character; Hisloving tenderness, far removed from wickedness, falsehood, darkness, and everything that damns. With grace, it’s notaccording to what you deserve, but according to His mercyand kindness shown you in Christ Jesus before the worldbegan.

The Word of His grace is that you’re surrounded withHis love; you’re the focus of His love. There’s no judgmentagainst you (Romans 8:1). The word of the law condemns; it’sharsh and invokes the wrath of God, yet it didn’t make menperfect (Hebrews 7:19). The law couldn’t give life. But thanksbe unto God, “For“For thethe lawlaw waswas givengiven byby Moses,Moses, butbut gracegraceandand truthtruth camecame byby JesusJesus Christ”Christ” (John 1:17). We’re under thegrace of the Lord Jesus; we’re being built by the Word of Hisgrace.

Give yourself completely to the Word of His grace, which has power and ability; it’s efficacious in itself and byitself to make you what it talks about. Did you notice that Goddidn’t say you should “build yourself with the Word”; rather,He says, “The Word will build you up.” So, all you have to do

s

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the trueworshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in

truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God isa Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in

spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).

TThere’s the right way to worship God. You can’tworship Him the way you choose and expect that

He’ll accept it. For example, Genesis 4 tells us how twomen—Cain and Abel—the sons of Adam and Eve offeredsacrifices to God. Cain brought an offering to God from theproduce of his farm; he offered to God what he thought wasokay, instead of what God had asked for.

Abel, on the other hand, offered what God demandedand his sacrifice was accepted. You don’t give to God whatyou think you have; you give Him what He demands of you. It’s the same with worship. It’s important that you walk inthe light of God’s Word, doing exactly what He wants. Justbecause something seems nice doesn’t mean it’s acceptableto God. You might have heard some people say, “Well, anybody can worship any way he chooses; I can decide tokeep quiet and worship God in my mind”; that’s wrong. Yes,God knows what’s on your mind, yet Jesus said, “When“When youyoupray, pray, say…”say…” (Luke 11:2). He didn’t say, “…When you pray, bequiet, for God knows what’s on your mind.”

In the Old Testament, when the prophets or priestsprayed, the contents of their prayers were written for us,showing that they verbalised it. Most times, God instructedthe Priests on what to say. In fact, when Jesus prayed, Hespoke out, such that others heard Him. He didn’t merely think

in His mind. It’s the same with worship; there’s a prescribedorder for it. We worship God through the Spirit, and by theWord—in spirit and in truth! And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that menought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1).

TThe victorious and triumphant life, which isGod-ordained, and His will for you in Christ, isn’t

really possible without prayer. The Bible says, “…The“…The effectualeffectualferventfervent prayerprayer ofof aa righteousrighteous manman availethavaileth much”much” (James5:16). Christians who don’t take advantage of the blessingsand privilege that prayer provides easily become victims inlife. Prayer is a privilege, as well as a right given to us toapproach the Father in faith through His Word, and by theHoly Spirit. That opportunity of fellowship is something theFather always wants us to seize and take advantage of.

In Luke 18:1, Jesus said, “…men“…men oughtought alwaysalways toto pray, pray, andand notnot toto faint.”faint.” The ensuing parable He told emphasizedthe connection we have with the Father in our constantcommunication that builds faith. It’s one of the beautifulbenefits of prayer, in addition to the conditioning of yourspirit. Thus, you need to be a praying Christian, and not a“playing” Christian; take your prayer life and routine seriously.

Prayer isn’t something you do when you have a need. That’s where a lot of people have missed it. They see prayer asthe avenue to ask God for things, whereas, fellowship—deepcommunion with the Spirit—is the higher purpose of prayer. When you commit to spending time in fellowship with theLord, you’ll always be synchronized with the Holy Spirit; Hiswill and purpose will be clear to you.

The power and import of prayer isn’t so much in theanswers we get when we pray as it is the impact it has on

our spirits. Understand that before you ask, God hears you. However, there’s something about prayer, especially prayingin tongues, that affects your spirit and causes it to glow. Whenyou pray in tongues often, the glory of God is revealed in yourinner man, causing you to function with divine wisdom.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from thefirst day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, andto chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard,

and I am come for thy words (Daniel 10:12).

TThe important thing about fasting is the “purpose” ofthe fast. There’re those who emphasize fasting for

long periods, like forty days, the way Jesus did. Well, thequality of a fast isn’t so much the longevity as it is the purpose. Some people erroneously think that the longer the fast, themore God is moved to answer them; no! God isn’t altered orinfluenced by your fasting. Your fasting only influences andaffects you.

Fasting helps you to become more conscious of thedivine nature in you. I’m not talking about the kind of fastthat’s done amidst all the distractions imaginable, but thekind where the flesh is completely subdued. I’m referring tothe kind where you separate yourself from the rest of theworld and spend time to pray, study, and meditate on God’sWord. At such times, it becomes easy for the Lord to get yourattention, minister to you, and transform your life, becauseyour affection is fully set on Him.

Through this kind of purposeful fasting, your spiritstands up like a giant; your humanity or the influence of theflesh wanes and your divinity rises. At such a time, when youutter a word, it transcends the arena of the human mind; itproceeds from your spirit with the potency and energy of theHoly Ghost. Hallelujah!

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit togetherin heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).

TThe Wuest translation gives an excellent rendering ofEphesians 1:21. It tells us that Jesus is “over“over andand

Many Christians have been quiet abouttoo many things, living as though they’re hamstrung or victimsin life. If only they’d discover their position and ability inChrist, the glory and power they wield in His Name, things willbe different.

We’re seated with Christ in the place of power, ina position of authority. This isn’t a fairy tale. We have Hisdominion. He’s given you the legal right, as well as the abilityto use His Name as an instrument. That Name is greater thanevery government, or institution, name or title that could beconferred, both in this world and in the world to come. JesusChrist is LORD over all, and the God of all flesh.

With this knowledge, you can, and should, put a stopto the wars, epidemics, wickedness, perils, and havocs thedevil and his cohorts concoct around the world. Psalm 46:9says, “He“He makethmaketh warswars toto ceasecease untounto thethe endend ofof thethe earth….”earth….”Putting a stop to these things is simple. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him

from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9).

WWhen you ask some Christians, “How do you knowyou’re saved?” they’d say, “I now feel close to

God”; but that’s wrong. Salvation or being born again hasnothing to do with how you feel. That you “feel” close to Goddoesn’t make you any closer to Him than another Christianwho may not “feel” that way. It’s got nothing to do withfeelings; it’s a matter of faith. The Bible says, “For“For byby gracegrace areareyeye savedsaved throughthrough faith…”faith…” (Ephesians 2:8). We’re not productsof our feelings or what our minds tell us; we’re who and whatGod says we are.

Refuse to be ruled by your feelings and emotions.Refuse to be dominated by your physical senses. Part ofSatan’s stratagems is to make people slaves to their feelings. This is why you must “fight” your feelings. Subject yourfeelings to the dominion of God’s Word.

With respect to salvation, the Bible says if you confesswith your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life, and believein your heart that God raised Him from the dead, salvation isyours. You’re catapulted from the kingdom of darkness intoLight (Romans 10:9). Straightaway, you’re born again with thelife and nature of God in your spirit. The Word of God is theproof that you’re born again, not your feelings. Romans 8:16says, “The“The SpiritSpirit itselfitself bearethbeareth witnesswitness withwith ourour spirit, spirit, thatthat weweareare thethe childrenchildren ofof God.”God.”

Feelings are deceptive; they change with situations and

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself;but he that prophesieth edifieth the church (1

Corinthians 14:4).

SSpeaking in tongues is so important for us asChristians. The Bible says, “For“For withwith stammeringstammering lipslips

ToTo whomwhom hehesaid, said, ThisThis isis thethe restrest wherewithwherewith yeye maymay causecause thethe wearyweary totorest;rest; andand thisthis isis thethe refreshing…”refreshing…” (Isaiah 28:11-12). Peterdescribes it as “…the“…the timestimes ofof refreshing….”refreshing….” (Acts 3:19).There’s refreshing, rejuvenation, and flourishing for the onewho consistently speaks in tongues.

Also, speaking in tongues improves you. The Amplifiedversion of our opening verse says, “ HeHe whowho speaksspeaks inin aa[strange][strange] tonguetongue edifiesedifies andand improvesimproves himself….”himself….” When youspeak in tongues, you become sensitive to spiritual realities;you’re synchronised with the Spirit, and His voice becomesclear to you. Some people say they don’t know when Godis talking to them. If they’ll speak in tongues, their spirits willbecome sensitive to God, to hear and understand His Word.

Another important benefit of speaking in tongues is thepurification of your faith. Jude 1:20 says, “But“But you, you, beloved, beloved, buildbuild yourselvesyourselves upup [founded][founded] onon youryour mostmost holyholy faithfaith [make[makeprogress, progress, riserise likelike anan edificeedifice higherhigher andand higher],higher], prayingpraying ininthethe HolyHoly Spirit”Spirit” (AMP). Your most holy faith is your mostsanctified faith; unalloyed faith, devoid of doubt or fear. It’syour highest, purest, and best expression of your faith so far.God expects you to build on that “most holy faith” throughspeaking in tongues.

He was bold to tell theCorinthian church, “I“I thankthank mymy God,God, II speakspeak withwith tonguestonguesmoremore thanthan yeye all”all” (1 Corinthians 14:18). Through faith we understand that the worlds wereframed by the word of God, so that things which are seen

were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews11:3).

TThe verse above is so powerful! To get the full importof its message, let’s take a closer look at some of the

key words. The first one is “worlds,” which is translated fromthe Greek word, “aion.” Aion refers to the course of life: howthings go with you and how they work around you. It refers tothe world as it is: its systems and directions—the different eras, like you’d say, “the life and times of Mr James,” or “The era ofthe Roman emperors,” the age, or successive ages of men orsocieties.

Another key term is “word,” which is rendered“rhema” in Greek. Rhema refers to the Word that Godspeaks, which He addresses directly to the human spirit. It’sdifferent from the “Logos” of God, which created the world:“In“In thethe beginningbeginning waswas thethe WordWord (Logos),(Logos), andand thethe WordWord(Logos)(Logos) waswas withwith God,God, andand thethe WordWord (Logos)(Logos) waswas God”God” (John1:1). Our opening verse, however, isn’t talking about thecreation of all things. It says, “Through“Through faithfaith wewe understandunderstandthatthat thethe worldsworlds werewere framedframed byby thethe wordword ofof God….”God….” This istalking about your life and your “aion”: using your faith toframe, repair, arrange, or fashion your life and your world tosynchronize with God’s perfect will.

This was what the great elders of faith did: They“framed” their world by the Word (Rhema) of God. That’sanother key word: “framed,” which is from the Greek,“katartizo.” It means to mend, to fix, to set in order, toarrange, and to fashion. The elders of faith received the

“Rhema” of God, and corrected, fashioned their times with“Rhema”—the spoken Word. The Lord Jesus said, “Man“Man shallshallnotnot livelive byby breadbread alone, alone, butbut byby everyevery wordword thatthat proceedethproceedethoutout ofof thethe mouthmouth ofof God”God” (Matthew 4:4). That’s “Rhema.”When God speaks His Word to your heart, He’s giving you“Rhema” and He expects you to declare it. Use it to frameyour life and your future.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to theword of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to

give you an inheritance among all them which aresanctified (Acts 20:32).

GGod’s Word requires your response. SomeChristians haven’t realized this; they don’t know

what the Word is for. Imagine that when the elders of thechurch at Ephesus got the message in our opening verse fromthe Apostle Paul, they went home saying, “O, I love what hesaid.” That wouldn’t have changed their lives or their situation.

Someone could tell you he has a gift for you and you’dbe happy at the gesture. Though you haven’t received the gift, you may probably say to the person, “I’m so happy aboutwhat you’ve said; it’s a blessing to me.” You were blessed justbecause of what the person said; that’s because we can beblessed by words. The Word of God, certainly, will bless you,but it doesn’t mean you’ll walk in the light of the blessing itconveys. You’d have to respond by affirming the same thingin consent: “He“He hathhath said…sosaid…so thatthat wewe mightmight boldlyboldly say…”say…”(Hebrews 13:5-6).

The purpose of commending you to the Word is forthe Word to build you up; the Word has the ability to do it.Now, your response should be, “The Word is building me up.Every time I hear and study the Scriptures, I’m transformed, elevated, energized, and my faith is built strong.” The momentthis becomes a reality in your spirit, all you see will bestrength, victory, progress, and endless possibilities. You’lldiscover that you’re getting stronger and wiser by the daythrough the Word.

Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rodof correction shall drive it far from him (Proverbs 22:15).

TThere’re people who never make the right choices ordecisions or ask the right questions. What happened

to such people? How did they become that way? The answeris in our opening verse. It says, “Foolishness“Foolishness isis boundbound inin thetheheartheart ofof aa child….”child….” Then it says the rod of correction will drivethat foolishness far away from him. The rod of correction isn’ta stick or cudgel; that may help in some cases, but the actualrod of correction is the Word of God in your mouth, and theWord of God is the wisdom of God.

Meaning that, the wisdom of God, coming out of yourmouth will drive foolishness away from a child so that as hegrows up, he gets wiser. The Apostle Paul hinted on this in hisaddress to Timothy. He charged him to continue in the Word, which he had learnt as a child and had made him wise: “And“Andthatthat fromfrom aa childchild thouthou hasthast knownknown thethe holyholy scriptures, scriptures, whichwhichareare ableable toto makemake theethee wisewise untounto salvationsalvation throughthrough faithfaith whichwhichisis inin ChristChrist Jesus”Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).

Many have grown up without the benefit of correctionfrom the tongue of righteousness. Therefore, they’ve grownup in, and with, foolishness in their hearts, making unwisedecisions that have made them victims in life. That canchange, if such folks would embrace and begin to live out theWord. The Word in you will make you sagacious, discerning, and smart.

Psalm 119:98 says, “Thou“Thou throughthrough thythy commandmentscommandmentshasthast mademade meme wiser….”wiser….” Through studying and meditating onthe Word, your mindset is elevated to think like God. You

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as untospiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ

(1 Corinthians 3:1).

IIn 1 Peter 2:2, the Bible says, “As“As newbornnewborn babes, babes, desiredesire thethe sinceresincere milkmilk ofof thethe word, word, thatthat yeye maymay growgrow

thereby.”thereby.” Peter, here, was referring to Christians who had justnewly received salvation and needed to feed on the sinceremilk of the Word to help them grow, which is okay.

But, in 1 Corinthians 3, Paul wasn’t referring to newconverts. He used the Greek word “nepios” which refersto someone who is childish in behaviour, attitude, understanding, and particularly, communication. He rebukedthe “nepios” for their continued need for milk though theywere no longer children. He said, “I“I havehave fedfed youyou withwith milk, milk, andand notnot withwith meat:meat: forfor hithertohitherto yeye werewere notnot ableable toto bearbear it,it,neitherneither yetyet nownow areare yeye able”able” (1 Corinthians 3:2).

It’s like when we tell people who have been Christiansfor a while, “God is going to heal you today. He’ll make a wayfor you, where there’s no way. He’ll do your fighting for you;just stand back and see the salvation of the Lord.” That’s for“nepios”—babes. Those who are mature don’t stand back tosee the salvation of the Lord; they have their spiritual sensesexercised, and go in the offensive to take what belongs tothem.

The Bible says, “For“For everyevery oneone thatthat usethuseth milkmilk isisunskilfulunskilful inin thethe wordword ofof righteousness:righteousness: forfor hehe isis aa babe.babe. Though an inheritance belongs to him, he’ll remaina servant as long as he’s a child. This isn’t God’s dream for Hischildren; He wants them to grow spiritually.

…If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him thatbelieveth (Mark 9:23).

TThe Christian life is one of limitless possibilities.Nothing is too difficult or unattainable for you, if

your faith and confidence is in the Word of God. Jesus didn’tsay, “All things are possible with God alone”; rather, He said,“All things are possible to him that believes.” That means youcan do anything, and be everything God has destined you tobe, if you’d put your faith to work.

Rather than be discouraged when situations challengeyour faith, get excited, because it’s your opportunity tomanifest the glory of God. It doesn’t matter the strengthof your adversaries, you’ll always prevail. Believe and acton the Word. Put your faith to work. Refuse to considercircumstances.

The inspiring story of Abraham and his wife Sarahproves that indeed, anything is possible if you have faith. TheBible says against natural hope, Abraham believed in hopethat he would be the father of many nations, according tothe Word of God (Romans 4:18-21). He was about a hundredyears old, while Sarah was ninety (Genesis 17:17). Yet whenGod told Him he was going to have a child through Sarah,he believed. they had prayed and fasted. Some others gripe about thepromises of God taking too long to be fulfilled in their lives;that’s because they’re not acting in faith. Faith doesn’tconsider natural circumstances, but leaps at the Word. Faithalways works. Jesus said if you have faith as a grain of mustardseed, you can literally tell a mountain to relocate, and it’lloblige; meaning that nothing shall be impossible unto you(Matthew 17:20).

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them;that thy profiting may appear to all (1 Timothy 4:15).

TThe Word of God has a ministry in our lives, and thisis something that needs to be emphasized in the

body of Christ. The Christian ought to be voracious for theWord. You have to always open your heart and mind to theWord to build, strengthen, and establish you permanently toenjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ. Weread the Apostle Paul’s admonition to the young manTimothy, saying, “Meditate upon these things; give thyselfwholly to them….” What things was he referring to?

In the preceding chapters, Paul had shared specificand vital truths from God’s Word with Timothy; it was thoserevelations he urged him to meditate upon. If the Spiritthought it fit to give Timothy such vital counsel through theApostle Paul, then it’s equally befitting to us today. We’reto constantly meditate on the revelation of God’s Word thatwe’ve received.

Notice also that he said to him, “…give thyself whollyto them….” That means let the Word have power over yourlife. Let it dominate your thinking, influence your words, andactions. This is something you do consciously; a deliberateresponse, initiated from your spirit to the Word of God. Theresult of this is that your “profiting” will appear to all. TheGreek word translated “profiting” is “prokope,” which meansfurtherance, progress, or advancement. This means yourprogress becomes apparent when you let the Word have thedominion in your life.

Let The Word Have Power OverYour Life

SUNDAY

Furthermore, the phrase, “may appear,” also in ouropening verse, means more than something coming casuallyinto sight; the Greek term is “Phaneros,” which means, “tospread abroad.” Your success and prosperity will “spreadabroad,” become widely and openly known, as you meditateon the Word of God. What a blessing!

So we are to use our different gifts in accordance withthe grace that God has given us. If our gift is to speakGod’s message, we should do it according to the faith

that we have (Romans 12:6 GNB).

AAs God’s children, there’s something unique abouteach one of us; we’re all so uniquely graced and

gifted by God. The Bible says, “…But“…But everyevery manman hathhath hishisproperproper giftgift ofof God,God, oneone afterafter thisthis manner, manner, andand anotheranother afterafterthat”that” (1 Corinthians 7:7). Everything you are in Christ—all thegifts, talents, and abilities God has given you—are to be usedfor His glory. Whatever the Lord has taught you or is teachingyou; whatever He has exposed you to and helped you toknow, are all for the furtherance of the Gospel. Therefore, findthe opportunity to use them to advance His agenda of soulwinning.

Prayerfully consider what more you can do for theLord. What more can you contribute? Become available; letothers benefit from the Lord’s investment in you. You maynot even know what you can do, but as you make yourselfavailable, God’s Spirit will help you bring your gifts and talentsto the fore.

The Lord has called and chosen you. He’s countingon you; He believes in you. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may haveboldness in the day of Judgment: because as he is, so are

we in this world (1 John 4:17).

TThe latter part of our opening verse, referring toJesus, says, as He is, so are we in this world. If we’re

as He is, then it’s important to find out from the Word whoJesus is; how did He live when He walked the earth? The Bibletells us that He healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast outdevils. Acts 10:38 says, “How“How GodGod anointedanointed JesusJesus ofofNazarethNazareth withwith thethe HolyHoly GhostGhost andand withwith power:power: whowho wentwentaboutabout doingdoing good, good, andand healinghealing allall thatthat werewere oppressedoppressed ofof thethedevil;devil; forfor GodGod waswas withwith him.”him.” His life was an unending streamof the miraculous.

He walked on water. He talked to deaf ears, and theywere unstopped. He spoke to blind eyes and they opened. He talked to lame legs, and they were restored. He was sucha marvel. At His word, even maimed limbs grew back. WhenHe hushed the raging tempest, His disciples exclaimed inawe, “What“What mannermanner ofof manman isis this!this! ForFor hehe commandethcommandeth eveneventhethe windswinds andand water, water, andand theythey obeyobey himhim ” (Luke 8:25).

Now, to think that He did all these as a man, havinglaid His glory aside (Philippians 2:7), beats the imagination. The glorious manifestations of the supernatural in His lifehappened before He went to the cross. It was after Hisresurrection that He became the glorified Christ (1 Peter1:21). This shows who we are, and what we can do today asnew creations in Christ Jesus. The image of the glorified Christwe see in the Word is actually our reflection as new creationsin Christ.

So, when you read, “as he is, so are we in this world,”

We’re Like Him

you ought to say, “Blessed be God, as Jesus is, with allHis glory, authority, and power, so am I today!” Hallelujah.Meditate on this truth. Consciously think, talk, walk, and actlike Jesus. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to bethe head over all things to the church (Ephesians 1:22).

TThe Lord Jesus is seated at the right hand of theFather, far above all principality, and power, might,

dominion, and every name that is named. He occupies themost excellent and exalted throne there is; and the goodnews is that we’re seated with Him. Ephesians 2:4-6 says, “But“ButGod,God, whowho isis richrich inin mercy, mercy, forfor hishis greatgreat lovelove wherewithwherewith hehelovedloved us,us, EvenEven whenwhen wewe werewere deaddead inin sins, sins, hathhath quickenedquickened usustogethertogether withwith Christ,Christ, (by(by gracegrace yeye areare saved;)saved;) AndAnd hathhath raisedraisedusus upup together, together, andand mademade usus sitsit togethertogether inin heavenlyheavenly placesplaces ininChristChrist Jesus.”Jesus.”

God gave Jesus authority over all creation. At themount of transfiguration, He spoke out of heaven and said,“This“This isis mymy belovedbeloved Son,Son, inin whomwhom II amam wellwell pleased;pleased; hearhear yeyehim”him” (Matthew 17:5). God commanded all of nature, animateand inanimate, to be subject to Jesus. Together, we’rereigning over all things; over all principality, and power, andmight, and dominion, and every name that is named.

In the realm of the spirit, you seat with Christ; youoccupy His place of authority, with the power of attorneyto use His name. All the powers of darkness respond to,and recognize, your authority in Christ. Therefore, be bold toexercise this dominion today and always. You’re not ordinary. You operate from a higher realm where your words arebacked with divine power. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where“Where thethewordword ofof aa kingking is,is, therethere isis power….”power….”

All authority has been vested on you to alter thecircumstances of your life and establish the righteousness ofGod in the earth. Now, about us, John writes, “…as“…as hehe (Jesus)

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, inthat they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things

were so (Acts 17:11).

YYou might have come across certain people who, though have been Christians for long, yet are not

grounded and settled in the truth. They still ask the samequestions they’ve been asking for years. Even after showingthem answers from the Scriptures, they return with the samequestions after some time. You may even think they’rehonestly seeking answers, but such attitude is themanifestation of their disquieted, roaming, and unsettledspirit. They’re tormented with worry, having difficultyaccepting simple realities. How sad!

As a Christian, you need to be deeply rooted andgrounded in the faith, and that happens when you give qualitytime and attention to God’s Word. Your personal study of,and meditation on the Word of God should remainparamount in your heart and on your mind. Don’t assume youalready know enough of God’s Word, because you attendchurch every Sunday. You need to search the scripturespersonally for yourself.

Read our opening verse again and observe those theSpirit praised; they were those who after receiving the Word, went back daily to search the Scriptures, to ascertain theveracity of what they’d been taught. They confirmed theWord for themselves and as a result, they couldn’t bedeceived. They became settled and grounded on the truth of

Walk in the light of the things you’ve been taught, andhave received; take a hold of them with your spirit. Then, the Holy Spirit will fill your heart and mind with thoughts offaith that’ll energize your spirit, such that you’ll always bevictorious and unshakable.

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin againstthe LORD in ceasing to pray for you… (1 Samuel 12:23).

AAtrue soul winner isn’t only concerned about thesouls in his immediate locality, but also about the

evangelization of the world. You must, with renewed vigour, become concerned about the salvation that Jesus Christ hasbrought to the whole world. No matter how concerned youare about your locality, you must at the same time think aboutthe regions beyond. Jesus puts it clearly in Mark 16:15: “…Go“…Goyeye intointo allall thethe worldworld ,, andand preachpreach thethe gospelgospel toto everyeverycreature.”creature.”

As we anticipate the Master’s soon return, you maynever as one individual, be able to go into the entire worldand preach to every soul on the face of the earth. However, there’re ways you can still be effective in global evangelism. One of such ways is through intercession; praying for thesalvation of lost souls. Every Christian that’s truly beentouched by the Holy Spirit burns with passion for intercession. Therefore, be diligent in praying for lost souls and otherbelievers in different parts of the world who may beexperiencing challenges and difficulties.

The Bible tells us to pray for those who are in trouble. Many Christians around the world are being persecuted fortheir faith. Some are being martyred for believing in JesusChrist. Some are suffering terribly in hospitals, writhing insevere pains, due to sickness and disease. They may noteven have enough faith to think about being healed, but yourintercessory prayer can help them.

Some Christians are in prison for offenses they didn’t

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them

the members of an harlot? God forbid (1 Corinthians6:15).

IIn the opening verse, notice that the Apostle Paulused the plural noun “bodies.” He was writing to the

Church at Corinth. If he had used the singular noun “body,” itwould have seemed right to argue that he was speaking ingeneric terms, referring to all of us as “the body of Christ”;that is, the mystical body of Christ as referenced in Romans12:5: “So“So we,we, beingbeing many, many, areare oneone bodybody inin Christ,Christ, andand everyeveryoneone membersmembers oneone ofof another.”another.”

He however expresses a profound truth about ourindividual connection and oneness with Jesus Christ bysaying, “…your bodies are the members of Christ….” This isa most powerful truth in God’s Word that you can apply foryour health. It isn’t only your spirit that is part of the mysticalbody of Christ, your physical body is a member of Christ! Thismeans Christ uses, rules, and functions in your physical body.If this is true, and it is true, where then would sickness comefrom? Christ is in you; He perambulates in you. Blessed BeGod!

Ephesians 1:22-23 says “And“And hathhath putput allall thingsthings underunderhishis feet, feet, andand gavegave himhim (Jesus Christ) toto bebe thethe headhead overover allallthingsthings toto thethe church, church, WhichWhich isis hishis body, body, thethe fulnessfulness ofof himhim thatthatfillethfilleth allall inin all.”all.” It says the body of Christ—the Church—is thefullness of Christ. And since your very physical body is partof the whole structure called the body of Christ, it means thatyou’re the expression of His reality, His grace, glory, kingdom, power and personality! You’re the expression of His fullness:

He is your completeness, but without you, the body isn’tcomplete.

Every one of us is important in the body of Christ.1 Corinthians 12:27: “Now ye are the body of Christ, andmembers in particular.” He uses the term “members inparticular, showing that each one is important in the structure.Ephesians 5:30 declares, “For“For wewe areare membersmembers ofof hishis body, body, ofofhishis flesh, flesh, andand ofof hishis bones.”bones.”

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians

5:22-23).

TThe “fruit of the Spirit” as used above means theproduct or feature of the recreated human spirit,

one of which is joy. Joy is something you have within you; youcan be joyful always, irrespective and independent ofcircumstances. Someone might say, “Well, I find it difficult tobe joyful; the difficulties I’m facing are too dire for me to behappy.” But that’s a mistake; the Bible says, “My“My brethren, brethren, countcount itit allall joyjoy whenwhen yeye fallfall intointo diversdivers temptations”temptations” (James1:2).

Joy is an emotion that is evoked by satisfaction, appreciation, and pleasure. Joy is powerful, and you can fillyour home with it. You can control the atmosphere and bringin joy where there was hitherto anger, sadness, and gloom.Satan has no place and stands no chance in an atmosphereof joy. The Bible says the joy of the Lord is your strength(Nehemiah 8:10). The joy of the Lord in your spirit is thestrength you need to prevail against the adversary andtriumph over adversities.

Express joy, irrespective of how you feel. You don’tneed any jester or comedian to exude the joy of the Lord!Just let it out of your spirit! For example, you just arrivedhome from work; you can light up that joyful atmosphereby announcing your presence with a cheerful, “Praise theLord, I’m home! What a wonderful day; I’m so blessed andfavoured in Christ!” You could even come in singing; makingmelody in your heart to the Lord. Before you know it,

Talk happy. Laugh often. The Bible says, “A“A happyhappyheartheart isis goodgood medicinemedicine andand aa cheerfulcheerful mindmind worksworks healing….”healing….”(Proverbs 17:22 AMP). Apart from producing health in you, ajoyful spirit also causes your spirit to be energized by the HolyGhost such that it’s easy to receive revelations from God. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit (1Corinthians 6:17).

TThe Bible says, “And“And soso itit isis written, written, TheThe firstfirst manmanAdamAdam waswas mademade aa livingliving soul;soul; thethe lastlast AdamAdam waswas

This is so powerful! The Lord Jesus Christ is thesecond and last Adam; He’s the Lord from heaven, and theBible describes Him as a quickening or life-giving Spirit. Nowonder, everything He touched received life. The next versesays, “As“As isis thethe earthy, earthy, suchsuch areare theythey alsoalso thatthat areare earthy:earthy: andandasas isis thethe heavenly, heavenly, suchsuch areare theythey alsoalso thatthat areare heavenly”heavenly” (1Corinthians 15:48). We hail from Christ; this means we alsoare life-giving spirits!

This was what the Lord Jesus was referring to in John7:38, when He said, “He“He thatthat believethbelieveth onon me,me, asas thethe scripturescripturehathhath said, said, outout ofof hishis bellybelly shallshall flowflow riversrivers ofof livingliving water.”water.” TheGreek terminology signifies gushers or torrents of living water.Life is flowing out of you. How does it flow? The Scriptureshows that it flows, first from your mouth, and then from yourhands. Anyone who makes contact with you in faith or byfaith can literally pull it out of you.

When Adam sinned against God, the law of death wasset in operation. The Bible says through sin, death came intothe world as a consequence of Adam’s transgression. Life hashowever come by the second and last Adam, Jesus Christ. Hesaid: “…I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have itin abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” (John 10:10 AMP).Now, not only do you have life to the full, you’ve become adispenser of life.

As was the earthly man, so are those who are of theearth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those

who are of heaven (1 Corinthians 15:48 NIV).

IIwant you to notice the tenses in the opening verse. Itreads, “As was the earthly man, so are those who are

of the earth….” He should have said, “…so were those who areof the earth…,” since the preceding verb is also in the pasttense—“was.” He however used present tense, showing thatthough Adam is no longer here, the people who are not bornagain are born after him, and are like him—fallen.

The second part of the verse says, “…and as is theman from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.”Again, examine the tenses closely: He used the present tensefor Jesus. While on earth, Jesus boldly declared, “I’m“I’m fromfromabove”above” (John 8:23), even though He was born in Bethlehem.Understand that He became the second and last Adam, notwhen He was born in Bethlehem, but when He was raisedfrom the dead. That’s when He was born again, and becamethe head of the new creation. So, Jesus “is…,” but Adam“was…!” If you’re born again, you’re born after the man fromheaven, Christ Jesus.

You might have heard people say, “I don’t know thatman from Adam?” They’re referring to Adam of the Gardenof Eden, because that’s their origin. We never talk like thatas new creations, because we’re from heaven. You’ve gotto know who you are, and declare it. Moses said to God,“Who shall I say sent me?” GodGod replied, replied, “I“I AMAM THATTHAT II AM”AM”(Exodus 3:14). He didn’t say, “I don’t know who I am”; Hesaid, “Tell them, I AM sent you.” In the same way, always bebold to declare who you are, and where you’re from. You’re

a God-man from heaven. Hallelujah!Even now, declare, “I’m from heaven; born of the

Word and Spirit of the Lord!” You can’t even say that withoutthe anointing being stirred in your spirit! Such a declarationnullifies the thoughts of weakness or impossibility. Never talklike an earthling because you’re from heaven. You’re notordinary. “But“But wewe areare citizenscitizens ofof heaven, heaven, wherewhere thethe LordLord JesusJesusChristChrist lives.lives. But he giveth more grace… (James 4:6).

TThe Lord is doing something beautiful in our day. We’re in a new phase in the move of the Spirit, and

in this new phase, tremendous things are happening. Theglory of the Lord is everywhere. His righteousness has takenover. His grace has multiplied upon the earth. Here’s whatyou need to know: The Bible says: “…But“…But wherewhere sinsinabounded, abounded, gracegrace diddid muchmuch moremore abound”abound” (Romans 5:20).Yes, we hear on the news, some of the most terrible thingshappening in different countries around the world today. Butthe truth is: Satan isn’t more wicked than God is gracious. IfSatan can go to high levels in his wickedness, God can gohigher in His grace. God’s grace is greater than Satan’swickedness.

Even though the iniquity of man has so increased(Matthew 24:12), right now, in the realm of the spirit, there’reangels the Lord has dispatched that are more powerful, working with God’s people in leading men to righteousness.Because Satan has become so ruthless in his wickedness andevil, God also has thrown away the limits in these nations, inHis pursuit of souls.

Zechariah 4:6 says, “…Not“…Not byby might, might, nornor byby power, power, butbut byby mymy spirit, spirit, saithsaith thethe LORDLORD ofof hosts.”hosts.” We’re currentlyin an unprecedented move of the Holy Ghost, such as hasnever been witnessed in the earth. God’s people are goingto be passionate about Christ, about the Holy Ghost, aboutthe written Word more than ever before. There’ll be suchinsatiable hunger in God’s people for the things of the Spirit.

A New Phase Of IncreasedGrace

WEDNESDAY

Many today who are invoking calumnies against the Church, and persecuting Christians, are going to turn to Christ like Saulof Tarsus did. He went after the Church, but the Holy Ghostwent after him.

Though we’re engaged in a warfare, we’re on thewinning side. Satan can’t stand the move of the Spirit that’sgoing on in our day. So be bold and encouraged to preachthe Gospel without fear. The Word of God in your mouth isGod talking; nothing can stop it. Hallelujah!

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thyyouth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5).

JJoshua 13:1 tells us something interesting about theman Joshua. It says, “Now“Now JoshuaJoshua waswas oldold andand

strickenstricken inin years;years; andand thethe LORDLORD saidsaid untounto him, him, ThouThou artart oldoldandand strickenstricken inin years, years, andand therethere remainethremaineth yetyet veryvery muchmuch landlandtoto bebe possessed.”possessed.”

Being old here isn’t just about being grey-headed; it hasto do with relevance to God and the work of His Kingdom.Joshua was a hundred and ten years old when he died, andwasn’t as old as Moses, who died at the age of one hundredand twenty years. Yet, Moses wasn’t described by God as old.The Bible says, “And“And MosesMoses waswas anan hundredhundred andand twentytwenty yearsyearsoldold whenwhen hehe died:died: hishis eyeeye waswas notnot dim, dim, nornor hishis naturalnatural forceforceabated”abated” (Deuteronomy 34:7).

It doesn’t matter if your years are many, refuse to get“old” in your mind. Old people know too much, and theirexperiences could make them cynical. They know too muchof what doesn’t work. They’re very difficult to be inspiredbecause they always remember that someone tried the samething they’re being asked to do, and failed. But with youngpeople, it’s different. They can’t think much of what doesn’twork; they take up the challenge. They’re adventurous withGod, and for God. That’s why God loves to use them. Theyalways want to learn something new.

Your body might age, but refuse to get old. The Biblesays, “Those“Those thatthat bebe plantedplanted inin thethe househouse ofof thethe LORDLORD shallshallflourishflourish inin thethe courtscourts ofof ourour God.God. TheyThey shallshall stillstill bringbring forthforthfruitfruit inin oldold age;age; theythey shallshall bebe fatfat andand flourishing”flourishing” (Psalm

He’ll constantlyrenew, refresh, and rejuvenate you through the Word. Paulsaid, “For“For whichwhich causecause wewe faintfaint not;not; butbut thoughthough ourour outwardoutwardmanman perish, perish, yetyet thethe inwardinward manman isis renewedrenewed dayday byby day”day” (2Corinthians 4:16). God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worshiphim in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

11Corinthians 2:14 says, “But“But thethe naturalnatural manmanreceivethreceiveth notnot thethe thingsthings ofof thethe SpiritSpirit ofof God:God: forfor theythey

areare foolishnessfoolishness untounto him:him: neitherneither cancan hehe knowknow them, them, becausebecausetheythey areare spirituallyspiritually discerned.”discerned.” This is because Christianity isbeyond the senses! The lack of understanding of this truthaccounts for the frustrations many experience in theirfaith-walk. God contacts your spirit, not your mind. Faithemanates from your spirit and not your mind; it’s the responseof the human spirit to the Word of God. It has nothing to dowith the senses.

Our senses weren’t designed to perceive God; wewalk with Him from our spirit; we serve Him with our spirit, and understand spiritual realities through the Spirit. Our mindsweren’t fashioned for that; only our spirit can relate withGod. And then, based on that relationship, we condition ourminds from our spirit to go in the same direction, and controlour senses to serve our purpose. That means, the characterthat we express outwardly will always be dependent on thecondition of our spirit—who we are inside.

That’s why we need the Spirit of God to guide us fromwithin. He alone can get deep into the human nature to effectthe changes that God wants in us—changes from glory toglory. He alone can guide your mind to think like God, talklike Him, and live accordingly. Hallelujah!

I’M IMPACTING MY WORLD WITH RHAPSODY OFREALITIES

Rhapsody of Realities has made me an effective minister of the Gospel. At every opportunity, I minister God’s Word to people using the dailydevotional. My colleagues at work have experienced tremendous changesever since I introduced the Messenger Angel to them. Now, the atmospherein our office is constantly charged with positive energy. My boss also studiesRhapsody of Realities now and has started attending a Christ Embassychurch.

I’M NOW FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST!Some time ago, I read a devotional in Rhapsody of Realities, which talkedabout sound code. I studied it carefully and began to practice the message.I began to loudly declare the confessions and prayers each time I readRhapsody of Realities. I did this continually until one day, the power of Godfell on me and I began speaking in other tongues. I’ve been speaking in othertongues ever since.

SAVED FROM SUICIDEOne day, I met a young man from New Delhi online via social media. Hewas a Hindu worshiper who didn’t know Christ. After chatting with him fora few minutes, I began to minister God’s Word to him from Rhapsody ofRealities. I sent him the “Prayer Of Salvation” and told him to read it out loud;he became born again that day! After a few days, the man sent me a messagetestifying how he was saved from committing suicide. He said, “I had plannedto commit suicide that night, but decided to go online for the last time.” TheWord of God from Rhapsody of Realities touched him, and he felt so muchpeace and joy inside. Now he has found a reason to live again.
