Lafayette Green Businesses encouraged to apply by March 20

The City of Lafayette’s Green Business program enters its eighth year and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Businesses applying by March 20, 2020, will be included in April recognition events.

The program offers an opportunity for business and commercial property owners to get started with sustainability initiatives or get recognized for their ongoing efforts.

New and returning applicants will:

• Receive free expert advising on money-saving opportunities and rebates.

• Be featured on the city’s website with valuable backlinks to your business page.

• Be recognized by the Lafayette City Council. Receive a certificate and a decal to display at your business to convey your commitment to supporting the city’s

climate goals. Awardees and their employees are also eligible for discounted RTD products, workshops, networking events, local "green" tours, and other educational opportunities throughout the year.

Returning Green Business awardees are simply required to review and update their prior year questionnaires to receive recognition again this year.
