… is investigating the feasibility to utilize a low cost option to develop satellite fields located in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea where the water depth ranging from 20 to 35 meters.
PHILOSOPHY:
• The design shall allow for re-use after field depletion
• Lifecycle cost shall always be considered
• Simple installation/de-installation methodology
• An ergonomic acceptable lay out
• Free water knock out
• Renewable energy

INSTALLATION
• Sea fastening of substructure to the barge using hydraulic pins for swift release of the substructure from the barge after mooring,
• Tow to the field using tugs,
• Transport positive range of stability more than 50 degrees (criterion > 36 degrees),
• Lowering stability (hydrostatic and hydrodynamic) provided by ballast on the suction piles,
• Lowering and lifting systems using strand jacks,
• Suction pumps for the installation and future removal of the suction pile foundation,
• No divers required for installation and removal of installation equipment.
