We know that not every student arrives with a specific area of focus or major in mind. In fact, each year nearly half of GSB’s admitted students arrive as undeclared students. That’s why we have made it easy for you to explore the many majors within GSB before you choose the one that sparks your passion. We consider students who have decided on business careers but are not quite certain exactly where the path might take them, to be “exploratory.” We offer a host of resources to assist in this important journey, including: • A first-year Enterprise course that covers multiple business topics and disciplines enables you to discover what might interest you. It even allows you to develop a plan to launch your own business. • Small classes that offer a personalized approach to business education. This helps students to get to know other students and their faculty, fostering conversation and insights into various academic and professional opportunities. • Bloomberg Businessweek self-assessment exercises, which have been developed by some of the the most respected business faculty in the world, in partnership with global business practitioners. These exercises help match your passion and interest with potential career paths and are very useful for exploratory students. • A personal program of advising throughout all four of your years, led by our expert business faculty.
