When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be designated a substitute holiday andobserved as the official holiday for that year. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shallbe designated a substitute holiday and observed as the official holiday.

Employees will celebrate ten holidays per calendar year, and there will be two diversity days to be chosenfrom any day of the calendar year. The diversity days will provide employees an opportunity to determinewhich day they wish to observe based upon their individual background and beliefs.

Holidays coincide with the Clerk of Circuit Court’s holidays which coincide with the holiday scheduleestablished by the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court.
