Dear Parishioners,
Maybe you noticed a change in the packet of church envelopes you received over the past few
days. Because of different reasons we have switched over to a new envelope company called
F.J. Remey in Mineola, Long Island. I am often apprehensive about making a change which
can affect many people and things: “Where are my envelopes? My name is misspelled. The address is incorrect.”
Sometimes this occurs and yet still there is an energy and enthusiasm when something new and improved
happens. I hope the new look on each envelope with different color borders, spiritual messages and levels of
giving will encourage everyone to continue to be as generous as in the past, and offer an invitation for more
parishioners to contribute funds necessary to support the good work of God happening week after week at Our
Lady of the Snows, and well in the Diocese and in the Church around the world.
Also, in order to eliminate some of the expenses in mailing hundreds of church envelope packets regularly to
registered parishioners, there will more contribution envelopes in each mailing which will save the parish a whole
lot of money. You can’t beat that!
Thank you for all you do prayerfully offering from your sustenance what God finds favorable in the work and
ministry we joyfully undertake throughout the Pastoral Year. If you do not receive church envelopes and/or may
be new in the parish, please consider helping us with your regular contribution to the parish that we simply love to
be part of and active members.
May our sacrificial giving deepen God’s holiness in our hearts and in our homes!
