• Read and keep these instructions available for future reference.• For indoor use only• To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.• The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing.• No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.• Take care that foreign objects do not enter, or liquids are not spilled, into the case

through any openings. If this should happen, refer to qualified service personnel before attempting to use.

• Do not install near any heat source, such as radiators, or other equipment that produces heat.

To clean the DAB-10 radio, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use any cleaning fluids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.

Do not spray an aerosol at or near the radio. Always use original packaging if it is necessary to transport the unit at any time. If this unit is used in a dusty environment, it may be necessary to have the unit serviced at your local dealer periodically. It is not advisable to allow large deposits of dust to accumulate within the unit as it may prevent adequate cooling. Similarly dust deposits, which become damp, can sometimes lead to electrical problems, which may cause severe damage to the delicate electronics within this unit.

Installation

1. Assemble the cradleAssemble the cradle by hooking up the unit into the holder.

2. Secure the DAB-10 unit into the cradle

3. Connect the supplied USB cable to the DC jack located on the side panel of DAB-10 and the USB jacks on the cigarette-lighter power plug. Please refer to the section on LOCATIONS OF CONTROL for the side view of the adaptor.

4. Plug the cigarette-lighter power plug into the cigarette lighter of your car.

5. Install the external antenna as per the below diagram:

How to use:

1. Turn on the #DAB-10 car adaptor. 2. #DAB-10 will perform a Full Scan of DAB stations automatically. 3. Press TX button on the #DAB-10 and the screen will show the current FM transmitting

frequency, make a note of that number. The default is 87.5MHz but you can change to other manually so it suits better to the area you are driving in.

4. Turn on your in-car audio system. 5. Switch the car radio’s FM frequency to match to #DAB-10 FM transmitting frequency

setting.

Long press "MENU/INFO" button, you will see few options:

- Reset , to reset the DAB stations- Volume, to do the volume control- Full scan, to start the full scan DAB stations- Manual, to do the manual tuning of DAB stations

USING THE AUX INPUT- Connect the AUX connect wire (not included) from the out jack of your Personal

Player such as portable MP3 player to the AUX input jack.- Turn on your Personal Player to begin playing, adjust the volume to desire listening

level.-

USING THE AUX OUTPUT- Connect the AUX connect wire (not included) from the out jack of the #DAB-10 car

adaptor to the AUX input jack of your car.- The audio signal of the car DAB adaptor will be transferred to your car speakers.
