IC: Setting Up Meetings• Schedule your meetings. Be bold, create a robust
schedule. Coordinate with others in your state. Decide today who will be making or following up with each member of Congress.
• Face-to-face meetings may be tough on Tuesday for the House, so make lemonade—request an August meeting at home! The July Action Sheet will guide you.
• Let us know about your meetings in this online form.
• Invite your members of Congress to our Lobby Day reception using our sample invitation. Decide who will make the invitations today.

IC: Prepare to be Powerful
• Set up a lobby preparation call the legislative staff. Contact Crickett Nicovich ([email protected])
• Gather constituents letters like St. Louis!
• Collect your media and bring copies.
• Read the 3 briefing documents (MCH, Education, TB).
• Support new people from your state to be ready for the IC.

IC: Engage Your Community
• Gather constituent letters.
• Organize an Action Network call-in while in DC
• Send the IC press release to local papers.
• Invite those not in DC to view live streaming on Saturday (Sister Giant & Conf. Opening) and Monday (Financing for Development panel, Jeffrey Sachs, Sister Simone).
• Set up meetings for August recess and invite community members.
• Set up debrief meetings for when you get back home.
