220TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

God’s grace and mercy are

promised to all.

The readings today wrestle with the ques-tions of who is in and who is out. When it comes to God’s grace, who will receive it? We learn that all who accept the gift of faith are incorporated into the covenant relation-ship with God.

Fr. Mark Going to Brides-

burg, Will Be Missed

Here in Bustleton!

We were notified this week that our own Fr. Kunigonis has been named Parochial Administrator at St. John Cantius Church. The assignment takes effect Friday, August 28.

In his little more than a year here at B.V.M., Fr. Mark has endeared him-self to all, whether as a kind confes-sor, a patient listener, a tireless worker, and a pleasant, holy priest.

One of the things we’ll remember most is how Fr. Mark used his tech-nology talents and kept us spiritu-ally connected throughout the Pan-demic of 2020. Live Streamed Mass will always have a special meaning and place in our hearts due to him.

Please know, FATHER MARK, that you have the GRATITUDE, LOVE and PRAYERS of us all. May God’s best blessings be yours, and stay as close to Jesus always as you are right now!

B.V.M. Athletic Directors Are Still Needed!

Both High School CYO and Jr. CYO Athletic Directors are needed NOW to complete the Charter. These programs will not be able to con-tinue when we get the green light unless the posi-tions are filled. For information, contact Colleen DuBeck, 215-673-8127, for High School CYO and Amanda Hassel, 267-688-2708, for Jr. CYO.
