Examples:

You can classify by shape.

Line Plot

A graph that records each piece of data on a number line

Example:

 Mode

The number found most often in a set of data

Example: The mode of 1, 3, 4, 4, and 6 is 4.

 Range

The difference between the greatest number and the least number in a set of data

Circle Graph

A graph in the shape of a circle that shows data as a whole made up of different parts.

Mean

the average of a set of numbers

Median

when ordering numbers from the least to the greatest, it’s the number in the middle
