National Volunteer Week Here at Summit House, we would like to thank all our volunteers who have been with us in spirit this last year when all our lives were turned upside down. Even though we have not been able to be with you, we know that as soon as we can we will get back to normal and you will be here for us. We have missed each one of you and all that you do for us. Tenant of the Month

Betty was born on a farm south of Duncan in

1924. She attended school through the 8th grade

and then helped on the farm. When she turned

18 she started helping her sister Josephine with

her 3 kids and cleaned houses for other people

each day of the week. In 1947 she married Orvin

and they were married for 41 years. After she

was married, she worked for Artes Produce for

24 years and then Britt Tech for 11 years and

finally Ewing Funeral Home for 35 years. Betty

has 7 sisters and of the Belgium heritage. Betty

enjoys crafts, reading, and baking Kringla for all

of us here at Summit House.

Administrator’s Day

Jody had a great time opening some interesting gifts for National Administrator’s Day. Thank you for being a great leader and problem solver. It’s a tough job trying to keep everyone healthy and happy this last year. Keep up the good work and prayers for a great year ahead.
