Alma Mater Days SHOW YOUR ALMA MATER PRIDE: Wear your favorite college t-shirt, sweatshirt, and the like (must display the College’s logo or name) the first Friday of every month. Friendly banter on performance of affiliated sports teams or alumni news is also highly encouraged. If you want to add a banner or anything to your door, that’s great too. Dress code restrictions on sleeveless shirts, shorts or sandals will remain enforced. Jeans can, of course, be worn (with a reminder that a voluntary contribution ($1) is
appreciated).

UPCOMING EVENTS
NOTEWORTHY ACCOLADES
The USF Faculty & Staff Campaign
celebrated the completion of the
fourth annual Faculty & Staff Cam-
paign Challenge. Thank you — Ken
Short and Cheryl Thole, who were
this year’s Co-Chairs. This year’s
Challenge, titled the “U ROCK Chal-
lenge,” invited University areas lo-
cated on the Tampa campus to par-
ticipate in a month-long competition to
reach their participation goals. CUTR had a
participation rate of 97%! To celebrate the success of the Challenge, the event
showcased the “Best Dressed Rock Star” competition between the 15 partici-
pating University leaders. Judged by the large crowd of employees in atten-
dance, the winner was our very own, Ken Short representing the College of
Engineering. Congratulations for winning the Gold Album trophy in the first
ever “Best Dressed Rock Star” Competition!
