The lightweight nature of the fibers, when compared to steel reinforcement, allowed for an ease of installation. There was no need to crane or forklift heavy, dangerous steel reinforcement up to the second floor. By using FORTA-FERRO ® , the contractor developed a safer working environment. FORTA-FERRO ® ’s non corrosive properties allows for the May Howard Elementary Replacement School to be a durable project for many years.
