Are you looking for a way to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day? We have the answer! Come celebrate with the City of Sioux Falls by participating in the parade! The City’s parade is the perfect opportunity to showcase your organization or business and your creative side to the Sioux Falls community! The City of Sioux Falls is seeking organizations to participate in the Mayor’s Fourth of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4, at 10 a.m. The route for the parade has expanded this year. The parade will begin at 13th Street and Main Avenue, then proceed east on 13th Street to Phillips Avenue, and then north on Phillips Avenue to the Farmers’ Market shelter at Falls Park. Here is a link to the map of the parade route: www.siouxfalls.org/Mayors-Parade-Route.pdf. Organizations that would like to participate in this year’s parade should visit www.siouxfalls.org/parade to find the registration form and event updates. Registration deadline is Wednesday, June 27, at 5 p.m. Don’t miss out on this once-a-year opportunity.
