Ahead of major construction for the Metro Tunnel Project, changes to the road, tram and bicycle networks are required to keep Melbourne moving during construction.

Further to the works notification issued 31 October 2017 this work will now commence on 3 January 2018.

As the major arterial route in the precinct, Kings Way has been identified as the primary diversion route during construction of the new underground station at Domain. • Line marking works

• Installing an overhead traffic sign across Kings Way north-west of Cobden Street to support the changed traffic conditions

• Constructing a crossover (exit point for vehicle traffic) on Kings Way north-west of Cobden Street from the service lane into the slow lane in the carriageway on Kings Way.
