MEASURED BUILDING SURVEYS
SLR provides a full range of services across the UK and globally for carrying out measured building surveys utilising modern surveying techniques and a technical expertise spanning multiple business sectors. Our surveying staff have over 20 years of experience delivering precise and accurate surveys and we are able to provide expert advice on a wide range of technical or professional issues.
SLR can provide a measured building survey of a building showing all its elements and architectural features. These plans can vary in detail vastly dependent upon the needs of the client from simple 2D floor plans through to full 3D models showing plant, steelwork and pipe-runs.
We also provide plans for specific purposes such as DSEAR plans, showing exclusions zones around specific pieces of plant or hazardous areas.

• Floor Plans – SLR can provide detailed floor plans showing both architectural and structural elements within a building. The level of detail provided depends entirely upon the needs of the client ranging from basic wall, door and window layouts through to plans showing all the fixtures and fittings.
• Elevations – Building and street scene elevations can be provided showing detail ranging from basic line drawings through to full architectural detail captured using a laser scanner. Rectified photographs of building facades can also be provided.
• Reflected Ceiling Plans – Reflected ceiling plans showing the layout of architectural, ceiling grids, lighting and electrical fittings orientated to match the associated floor plan can also be produced using remote surveying techniques so there is no disruption caused by scaffolding or ladders.
• Cross Sections – Cross sectional information can be provided through any part of the building with varying degrees of detail from simple linework

• Monitoring – We are able to provide services for monitoring of buildings that might be subject to subsidence. This can range from simple repeated monitoring of single points through to full deformation surveys.
• CAD, 3D Modelling – Our capabilities include the ability to provide 3D modelling of steelwork, plant and pipework layouts utilising a laser scanner. All plans can be delivered in a variety of formats including but not limited to DWG, DXF, LSS, TruView, PDF and MX GENIO.
