Market AnalysisMeatMarket Clothing Company targets women between the ages of 15 and 35, a broad and large group that is expected to grow over the next ten years. We believe that our target population spent a total of $28.1 billion on apparel in 1998, up from $25.7 billion in 1995. While our target customer base is expected to grow, the teenage and early twenties population, a core group of our target market, is expected to grow at a rate faster than that of the overall United States population according to the United States Census Bureau.

The increase in minimum wage, higher employment, and easier access to credit cards will continue to contribute to substantial growth in the buying power of our target market. They urge for fast fashion at a reasonable value will likely increase with this growing population.

Current Economic Factors - the current economic state is still in repair. While the economic growth is happening, it is slow. More customers are being a bit cautious with spending and are looking for the perfect balance between price, quality, and fashion.

Current Political Factors - With a great divide in political views nation wide, the past election will likely continue to cause some turmoil. With almost a 50/50 split, this last election will likely drive a feeling or need for rebellion in some of our primary demographic. Bolder styles are likely going to be a bit more in demand.
