Workshops attended by faculty members-
Mr. V.S.N.Ch.Dattu has Participated in the National workshop on
“Optimization of Mathematical Models and Their Applications” orga-
nized by M.S.Ramaiah Institute of technology,Benglore on 1st july’2013.
Mrs. Ch.Vasantha Lakshmi & Mrs. K.Aravinda have attended a One day
National workshop on “Industrial Water and Waste Water Management”
organized by JNTUK, Kakinada on 15th July’2013.
Mr. S.Srikanth & Mr. P.Nanaji have attended a two day National workshop
on “Advanced Technologies in Thermal Power Plants” organized by
Vignan University, vadlamuru on 29th & 30th July’2013.
Ms. G.Lavanya Lakshmi and Ms. K.Deeprani attended a National Work-
Shop on “Futuris Trends of Nano Composites and Their Fabrication”
conducted by R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering, Chowdavaram, Guntur
on 6th & 7th September’2013.
Mr. G.Avinash has attended a Short Term Course on “Product Design and
Engineering” during 21st to 25th October’2013 organized by Center for Con-
tinuing Education and Department of Engineering Design, IIT Madras.
The following faculty have attended a Two Week ISTE WorkShop on
“Engineering Mechanics” conducted by IIT Bombay under the National
Mission on Education through ICT from 26th November’2013 to 6th Decem-
ber’2013.

III year ME (2011-15 batch) students visited the Steel Plant on
12-07-2013. The students observed the total equipment and its functioning
in the Plant. This is a successful trip under the guidance of faculty members

Events Organized-
A Technical Event was organized in the Department for 1st and 2nd year
Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering students on 16th December
2013 with the objective to bring the students to interact and share their inno-
vative ideas and to highlight new concepts in variety of technologies.
Three events namely Paper presentation, Poster presentation and General
quiz were included as a part of this technical event and prizes were given for
winners and runners.
