Fleurimene can laugh again
She came in November
2014 for consultation and
was nearly four years old.
Because of her weak right
leg, she never had made a
step in her life.
The experts in Deschapelles
had to amputate her leg and
then provide her with a
prosthesis.
Today Fleurimene is able to
walk on her own.

medi bayreuth supports medi for help
medi bayreuth thought up something special for the relief project medi for
help: the club auctioned off autographed fan articles over Christmas and
donated the proceeds to the organisation in Haiti. Besides jerseys and fan
packages, a special event - an exclusive Meet & Greet with Bastian Doreth -
came under the hammer. A total of € 437,52 could be donated.
Already in February 2015 in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the relief
project the team collected € 401.

Prosthetic Hand out of the 3D printer
Our medi for help project was supported by an US-project. The prosthetic hand out of
the 3D printer „The RAPTOR-Hand“ is an ambitious research project for Haiti. Here
children who show an interest in technology are encouraged and supported to use
computers in public schools.
