The meeting began with the Divine Liturgy presided by the President of the Pontifical Coun- cil for Social Communications Msgr. Claudio Maria Celli and the priests who are members of the organization. The meetings’ discussions centered on Signis’ future and role in the world of Christian Media with the new chal- lenges. The achievements of the last year were displayed; the future projects that will be carried out with the cooperation of the members in the 5 continents were discussed. Each region presented its reports, the partici- pants got informed about the projects and achieve- ments completed in the Catholic Media field in the regions encompassing the local members and they are classified as the following: Europe, the Pacific, Latin America, North America, Asia and Africa in addi- tion to international known as “Intersig” or “Signis International”. The assembly met with the members of the Pontifical Council for the Laity to discuss many issues, responded to the invitation of the Vatican Radio and participated in an episode highlighting a new vision regarding the future of the Catholic Media under the title Media for a Culture of Peace: Creating Images for the New Generation” gathering Signis with the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, the Office of Social Communications for Italian Bishops, Vatican Press Office. From Lebanon, the President of Signis International Marie-Therese Kreidy attended the meeting and presented Tele Lumiere’s invitation to hold the next assembly in Lebanon. Soon, Lebanon will welcome hundreds of communicators and operators in the Christian Media from all over the world. More details will be given later. Over the week, the World Catholic Association for Communication, Signis’ board of directors held their annual assembly in Rome in the attendance of the presidents of

the organization’s seven international regions, repre-senting more than 140 countries and hundreds of Catholic media.

The meeting began with the Divine Liturgy presided by the President of the Pontifical Coun-cil for Social Communications Msgr. Claudio Maria Celli and the priests who are members of the organization. The meetings’ discussions centered on Signis’ future and role in the world of Christian Media with the new chal-lenges. The

“The Woman’s Dignity” of Pope John-Paul II (August 15th, 1988)

This encyclical was published by the Holy Pontiff in the Marian year, aims through meditations upon several issues related to woman, to focus on the great gifts entrusted by the Creator to this crea-ture who can discover, through the Christ’s spirit, all characteristics of femininity, this woman through

whom the greatest event in history took place: Jesus’ birth.

Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Alberto Gori (1949- 1970)

It is a new and modern interpreta-tion of the words of Jesus Christ the Revolution-ist Teacher, according to the Gospel of Matthew the Evangelist, and aims to consider the Bible and Christ too exalted for the impurities referred to them, focusing on the philosophy of revolution led by Christ for the salvation of humanity.
