For our two-year anniversary issue, we decided to go long, drafting Patriots quarterback and future Hall of Famer TOM BRADY, Formula One upstart MAX CHILTON, and celebrated artist
JACK PIERSON for our covers. There’s a boatload of talent on display inside, too. Artist HUGO GUINNESS catches up with his old pal WES ANDERSON as he makes his way through
southern Italy by train. MAX BLAGG probes the mind of horse-mad artist NICK TURNER, who works out of a studio deep in the Maine woods. We meet a pair of modern-day adventurers:
DARYL HAWK, of the Explorers Club, fresh off a traverse of Ladakh in northern India, and ALEX THOMSON, the record-breaking yachtsman whose signature move,
“the mast walk,” puts other aquatic stunts to shame.
We’ve packed this issue with plenty of heart-stopping collector’s pieces, too, from the vintage cars of HERITAGE CLASSICS in Los Angeles, to the finest time-only dress watches you’ve ever laid
eyes on. As we head into Fall, there’s also a heavy dose of inspiring fashion from the menswear world’s top photographers, like ROBBIE FIMMANO and CÉDRIC BUCHET.

Man of the World‘s June Issue is a love letter to down time and the outdoor pursuits that make summer our favorite season. It has three separate covers: GARRETT HEDLUND, breakout star
of Lullaby; an exclusive BRUCE WEBER fashion cover; and a limited-edition hand-drawn collector’s cover by artist TOM SACHS. Inside No. 8, we dive deep into the archives of M.Nii, the
tiny Hawaiian tailor shop that invented modern surf wear, raise a glass with English novelist MARTIN AMIS, break bread with CHARLIE ROSE, the last serious man in TV news, and visit
GEORGE NAKASHIMA‘s mid century masterpiece in the Pennsylvania sticks.
We also hang with Boardwalk Empire actor BRIAN GERAGHTY, spotlight the six essential nautical watches of summer, and showcase SIMON DAVIDSON‘s stunning photographs of the
Australian muscle car scene. Elsewhere, we hit the gym with BOO GEORGE, take a tour of the modern Man Cave with Bruce Weber, and get a closer look at the latest pieces from Sachs‘s epic

In Issue No. 7, we hang out with actor Jake Gyllenhaal and talked craft with Scott Eastwood as he stepped out of his old man’s formidable shadow and into the spotlight. For the first time ever, we
created a limited-edition collector’s covers celebrating the life and work of an artist who changed the way we see the world: Dennis Hopper, whose estate graciously allowed us exclusive access to
his extensive personal archives. Other men featured in this issue include: French actor ALAIN-FABIEN DELON JR., who was fresh off his debut at Cannes; London-bound hotelier
ANDRÉ BALAZS, writer/director LUKE FLYNN, and vintage style pioneer DOUG BIHLMAIER, of RRL fame, who gave us a tour of his perfect cabin in the woods.
We also capture newly crowned world chess champ MAGNUS CARLSEN at work, paid a studio visit to JEFF ABRAHAMS, the world’s most prolific celebrity photographer,
and got our knuckles dirty at the baddest private motorcycle club in Bushwick.
