FNEP2 Nepal ICI project•A bilateral development cooperation project between FMI and DHM of Nepal, •Project budget 493 000€ för 2013 – 2016, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland
•The expected results of the project •Improved processes of DHM to produce weather and climate services
•Developing and releasing new weather and climate services (EWS 3 days, seasonal forecasting, climate outlook products)

• FINPAC - Finnish-Pacific Project to Reduce Vulnerability of the Pacific Island Countries' Livelihoods to the Effects of Climate Change
• Budget: 3 775 000€ for 2013 - 2016
• Project covering the entire value chain from improved observations to services and benefits to communities
• Partnership with SOPAC, Red Cross and WMO
• Beneficiaries are the NMHSs from 14 Pacific Island Countries

• Support for the African Ministerial Conference on Meteorology – 250 000 €
• In response to major challenges in the delivery of weather and climate services in Africa, the Nairobi Ministerial Declaration (April 2010) established the African Ministerial Conference on Meteorology (AMCOMET) as a high-level mechanism for the development of weather and climate services and applications in Africa to support economic development. – support for the conference.
• Establishment of a Regional Climate Centre for Central Africa.
• Development of the implementation plan for the integrated strategy
• Support for the Gender and Climate Forum – participa tion of NMHS representatives from developing countries – 50 000 €
• Malawi project 50 000 €• The programme will help building integrated frameworks within country and
will support existing inititiatives in climate services, food security, nutrition, and health as well as DRR.
• Guinea Conakry 35 000€• Climate data rescue and management
