Housed in a magnificent Grade I listed building designed by William Burges. The building is considered to be a masterpiece in Gothic residential design. It is situated in one of the finest areas of South Wales, close to the Castle, City Hall, Law Courts, New Theatre, National Museum & Gallery and the Millennium Stadium.

Each of its four floors has its own unique character and ambience. Dine in the Burges restaurant, enjoy the discreet comfort of the Club Bar & Restaurant or escape downstairs to Vanilla Rooms for a champagne cocktail.

The Club Bar is a great venue to enjoy our business lunch menus, have an informal meeting or just to relax and enjoy one of our 500 wines and spirits.

Features include: Sky News, daily newspa-pers, complimentary Wi-Fi, table service and a wide variety of menus with dishes ranging from £3.95 to £10.95.

The Burges restaurant isn’t just another restaurant - it’s a din-ing experience. Our creative team of chefs source, prepare and develop new and exciting dishes to tickle your taste buds and expand your palate.

The Stairway

The Boardroom is available to members for meetings, confer-ences and private dining. Located on the second floor, it is a beauti-ful and private room.

Features

The Boardroom will comfortably accommodate up to 30 people theatre style or 20 boardroom style. State of the art facilities are available for hire, including plasma screens, projectors, VCRs, DVD players and Wi-Fi.

A choice of refreshments is avail-able on request and working lunches can also be arranged for members.

Members can reserve the Board-room for a variety of events, such as monthly board meetings, job interviews, annual reviews and training days to name a few.

Private dining is very popular and our service is highly personal and we work hard to make your expe-rience truly memorable, whatever the occasion. Our Head Chef will be available before the event to discuss your menu requirements.

Vanilla Rooms provides an exclu-sive retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Located on the lower ground floor of the Club, it’s the perfect place to entertain your clients, launch your company’s latest product or reward your staff and customers.

Our team of Mixologists are on hand to guide you through our list of drinks. They will shake, stir and muddle you the most mind blowing and delicious cock-tails you will find this side of the Severn Bridge!

It’s not just cocktails on offer, in-dulge in a glass of fine wine or choose from our selection of out-standing Champagnes or from our range of over 350 spirits and liqueurs.

Jerusalem artichoke soup with a stem ginger syrup and a julienne of spring onion

Duo of rabbit: confit of leg and stuffed saddle with glazed carrots, capers and peas

Cider and dill gravadlax, cured inhouse to a traditional recipe using wild Scottish salmon. Served with a sweet mustard dressing and potato salad

Twice-baked stilton soufflé with poached red wine pears and baby leaf spinach

Escalope of Glamorgan turkey with a wild mushroom stuffing, parsnip croquettes, roasted chestnuts, brussel sprouts, carrot, swede and a slow cooked pork belly sausage

Slow roasted pork belly with creamed leeks and prunes, colcannon, Welsh cider jus, crispy crackling

Monkfish wrapped in Parma ham with truffled potatoes, oxtail and roasted baby onions

Vegetable Moroccan tagine with Chermoulda and almond cous cous

Fillet of Welsh beef with a foie gras bon bon, honey roasted baby vegetables and a fondant potato, finished with a Madeira jus - £5.00 supplement per person

Events at the Park House

Martel Cognac Masterclass Dinner£65pp or £55pp Gold/Spirit Club members

Park House Club is proud to welcome the Cognac house of Martell for this showcase evening of opulence and decadence. The masterclass begins in Vanilla Rooms where a special Martell Médaillon V.S.O.P. apéritif , concocted by bar manager Andrew Fisher and his team, will be served, accompanied by French styled canapés.

Lynch-Bages Wine Dinner£165 pp or £145pp for Gold/Spirit Club members

Chateau Lynch-Bages has always been a favourite with British claret lovers and has been one of Bordeaux’s highest performing Chateaux for decades, far outperforming its status. We are delighted to present some of the Chateau’s best wines of the past 50 years.

The line up includes most of the legendary vintages in living memory, culminating in the mythical 1961.

Icon Wine Dinner£195 per person £175 for tables of 4 or more

This unique wine dinner will bring together the finest food and some of the most iconic wines in the world.

The highlight of the evening will be Mouton Rothschild vs Montebello Ridge from magnums, finished off with a bottle of d’Yquem.

This is an eveing not to be missed for all food and wine lovers.

What makes the PHC unique from all other members clubs is our range of in-house events that brings to our members the finest wines, spirits, foods, speakers and companies around. Our events are of course great social occasions but are increasingly being used by our members for business networking, staff rewards and client entertaining. Over the last year we have also put on a number of private events for our corporate members such as wine tasting events for the Institute of Directors and a Glenmorangie dinner for Bank of Scotland.
