MEO’s project transportation solutions business, Express Offshore Solutions (EOS), provides transportation services to engineering, procurement, installation and construction companies undertaking projects offshore, nearshore and onshore. EOS has successfully executed multiple transportation projects and handled large-scale marine equipment requirements in multiple locations worldwide.

Headquartered in Singapore with operational bases in Batam, in Indonesia and Jebel Ali in the UAE, the project team readily provides facilities for crew safety inductions, vessel and barge preparations, and modifications and reinstatements. Miclyn Express Offshore Ship Management LLC, Abu Dhabi (MEOSM)

MEOSM supports our Abu Dhabi operations by participating in major marine offshore service tenders in the region. Operations include crew boat duties, tow tug operations, accommodation services, geophysical support, ROV support, and geotechnical survey operations. The business also supports local construction companies for the transportation of modules, jackets and piles through MEO’s project transportation division. MEOSM seats key ADNOC approved personnel and is ADNOC In-Country Value (ICV) certified, allowing the company to give back to the local community and create domestic value by investing in local spend.

Miclyn Express Offshore - Western Hemisphere

WESTERN HEMISPHERE

MEO - Western Hemisphere is our regional headquarters for our Middle East, India and Africa operations of over 40 Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs) and Crew boats, serving major IOCs, NOCs and EPCI players. The Dubai office is equipped with a full onshore team, training facilities, and has a warehouse and workshop in Dubai Maritime City (DMC) which caters to machinery overhauls and vessel maintenance to the highest standards. The Western Hemisphere operations fully support vessel operating countries in the Middle East, West Africa, as well as India and is fully certified in ISM, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.

SAUDI ARABIA

Miclyn Midad Marine Co. LTD (MMM)

MMM is MEO’s joint-venture set up with Midad Holdings in Saudi Arabia to service clients in the region, given that the majority of vessels in the Western Hemisphere region are working in the Kingdom. MMM has a dedicated operations office at Ras Tanura which caters to local client requirements, at the same time driving economical investment through local spend. The setup in Ras Tanura also includes a fully equipped workshop with in-house capabilities to overhaul mechanical and electrical equipment, and provide repair and maintenance allowing fast turnaround for our vessels. In addition, MMM has a branch office in Al Khobar for commercial and administrative support. MMM participates in the In Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) Program by hiring local Saudi staff to promote Saudisation, which drives domestic value and provides training and development opportunities.

BRUNEI

Miclyn Express Offshore Brunei Sdn Bhd

MEO has been operating in Brunei since 2013, based in Kuala Belait. The onshore team of local staff cover functional business duties and support Brunei marine vessel operations, at the same time meeting the Brunei government’s Local Business Development (LBD) requirement. In driving LBD initiatives, the company has active Bruneian seafarers in the fleet and are participating in the Brunei Maritime Academy (BMA) cadet development programme by taking on BMA Graduate Trainees. The integrated approach of local capability and a Group-wide Operational Excellence drive has ensured that MEO’s 10 Utility Support Vessels and Fast Crew Boats working in Brunei have continued to perform with a commitment to safety and a high technical availability that is widely recognized by oil majors operating in the country.

MALAYSIA

Bintang Samudera Sdn Bhd (BSSB)

BSSB has 3 shore-based support facilities; the Kuala Lumpur head office, Kemaman office and Miri office. The combined facilities cover all functional requirements for both the Malaysia and Brunei fleet such as crew training through a trainer master, equipment maintenance and overhaul through our in-house workshop; and in-house warehousing of critical spares and consumable products. BSSB also holds various SWEC and operates for most segments within the Malaysian offshore sector with 17 diverse locally flagged fleet of DP2, ROV Support, Accommodation Work Vessels, Anchor Handling Supply Vessels and Crew boats.


THAILAND

Uniwise Offshore (UWO)

Established in 1999, our joint venture company with local shipyard and logistics partner Unithai Group in Thailand has 3 shore-based support facilities; the Bangkok main office, Sattahip office and warehouse; and Songkhla office, warehouse, workshop and training centre. The Songkhla training centre includes a vessel simulator, cargo deck training and emergency escape training equipment that plays a key part in the company’s strategy to develop, train and retain competent Thai crew.Uniwise Offshore owns and operates the largest crew boat fleet in the Gulf of Thailand including Offshore Support Vessels, AHTS, and Utility vessels supporting Tanker Lifting operations, Static Tow duties and Drilling Rig activities such as SPM maintenance, Floating Hose maintenance, Cargo Transportation, Stand-by, Fire-Fighting, and Oil Spill Response operations.

MEO has 2 shore-based support facilities in Indonesia; the Jakarta office and training centre which provide new joiner inductions, shipboard familiarisation and safety trainings; and the Batam warehouse, that provides critical spares ensuring fast vessel turnarounds. The team manages 14 Indonesian flagged vessels as well as foreign-flagged vessels that serve EPCs, subsea operators and oil majors in the Indonesian market. The vessels also operate in Myanmar and Bangladesh for seasonal campaigns across various Dive Support, Seismic Support, Survey operation and Passenger and Equipment transfer duties.


Blue Sea Offshore is MEO’s operational base in Taiwan, recently set up to support our ongoing and upcoming windfarm and renewable projects in Taiwan. Blue Sea operates 4 Taiwanese flagged vessels, including 400ft self ballastable barges and 100T BP anchor handling vessels that support the construction phase. Capabilities include vessel chartering, multi-vessel project management and lumpsum transportation solutions to Developers, EPC’s and Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation companies. The office also drives domestic value by hiring local Taiwanese crew. With a first mover advantage, our track record of project participations in Taiwan include the Formosa 1 Phase 2 Project, Taiwan Power Company Changhua Phase 1 Project, and Yunlin project.
