Mouldings

Ready to buy-in and sell-out, our range comprises over 75 ex-stock profiles of hardwood and clear softwood mouldings, including architrave, skirting and PAR, many of which are available in FSC certified timber.

The quality of our mouldings is unrivalled and they are available in traditional or contemporary pre-machined designs.

Bespoke pieces are also available to order from our manufacturing team.

Panels

A leading UK importer and distributor, we offer a wide variety of panel products from veneered to melamine faced boards, marine plywood and a range of ‘specials’ such as flexible MDF and flame retardant products.

Sawn Hardwoods & Clear Softwoods

We offer over 40 hardwood species, with a portfolio including popular species such as Sapele, Oak, Iroko, Black Walnut and Poplar. Many of our timbers have Chain of Custody and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.

Timbmet is the UK’s exclusive supplier of Red Grandis™, a plantation grown, FSC Pure, red hardwood which offers a legal and sustainable alternative to Sapele or Meranti with the added benefits of durability, ease of use and continuity of supply.

Our clear softwood range includes Douglas Fir, Southern Yellow Pine and Western Red Cedar sourced and imported from Canada and North America, as well as Redwood from Scandinavia.

Manufacturing Services

Uniquely, Timbmet offers a full range of manufacturing services including the ability to mould, lacquer, stain, prime and CNC to exact requirements.

We can advise, manufacture and deliver components to your requirements, making use of our technology, expertise and unparalleled range of timber to provide cost effective solutions. In addition, our Fast Track service means urgent orders can be completed within a minimum time frame.

Flooring

The Timbmet flooring range comprises high quality, solid hardwood and engineered flooring suitable for commercial and domestic use. Our range includes Tavernflor® Solid Oak, Silkflor® Prem engineered Oak, FSC certified Silkflor® by Greenkett, Legacy™ by Hakwood premium engineered and Vintage designer products.

We offer a variety of finishing options including unfinished, oiled or lacquered, with products to suit all types of sub floor and installation.

Our flooring accessory range includes underlays, adhesives, trims and thresholds, finishing oils and post installation cleaners.

Our new range of vinyl plank flooring offers the aesthetic appeal of solid wood flooring with the additional benefits of scratch, indentation and slip resistance, natural sound absorption and easy maintenance.

Hardwood Decking

A range of hardwood decking is available with FSC certified hardwoods available to order.

Decking is available in standard sizes from stock or in bespoke profiles through our fast track service. We are also able to manufacture bespoke accessories.

Timbmet are members of the Timber Decking and Cladding Association and all of our decking products are endorsed through their Deckmark Plus performance rating scheme.

Timbmet Engineered Components

TEC is our range of engineered timber products available in a variety of species, including off-the-shelf window, door and stair components, which retain the natural look of wood with improved product performance.

TEC products are multi-layered, free from natural defects and offer dimensional stability far in excess of solid timber.

The engineering process results in 30% less waste and lower associated costs.

®Worktops

Our solid hardwood worktops including Iroko, Oak and Black Walnut, are high grade and finger jointed with 40mm wide staves as standard, suitable for kitchens, bars and offices. Other stave widths are available to order.

Our Beech and Oak worktops are made from FSC timber and all worktops are individually wrapped for your customers to take away.

Doors

Timbmet stock a range of paint grade, timber core door blanks suitable for interior and exterior use which meet fire, acoustic and thermal performance levels.

We also offer FSC internal Oak 4 panel doors, supplied unfinished.

Our fully finished Viscount doors are faced with a high quality veneer and lacquered with a satin finish to both faces and edges.

Timbmet is a market leader in our commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible business solutions. As such, we pursue our commitment to responsible business through clear policies and action plans to meet our responsibilities as effectively as we can.

Our environmental policy commits us to sourcing our wood product from legally and sustainably managed forest, reducing our carbon footprint and minimising our waste product.

Through our supply chain assessment system we determine the forest of origin, the legal right to harvest and the standard of forest management

practiced for all of the timber and wood products that we buy. We are committed to increasing the proportion of our purchasing that is independently certified or verified.

For specific environmental, certified or sustainable timber requirements on a contract, we offer a range of full chain of custody certified products in FSC, PEFC, CSA, SFI, MTCS and Verified.

Our hardwood range encompasses temperate and tropical timbers from across the world, Ash through to Walnut and over 40 species in between. Many of our timbers have Chain of Custody and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certifi cation.

Our softwood range spans clear softwoods such as Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar from Canada and North America through to Scandinavian Redwoods.
