Big Ears FestivalChurch Street will once again serve as a venue for the Big Ears Festival, which will be held March 22-25.

The Big Ears Festival is a dynamic, interactive experi-ence that explores connections between musicians and artists, crossing all musical genres while interfacing with film, performance and the visual arts in Knoxville. Church Street will serve as a concert venue on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24. Learn more at www.bigearsfestival.org.

Kitchen Closing The Building for Christ project continues to move forward! Due to construction, the kitchen will be fully closed beginning Monday, April 2 for six to eight weeks. No one will be allowed in the kitchen and this includes no access to the ice machine, dishwasher, etc.

Never fear: the Soup Kitchen will continue to serve guests even through the kitchen closure. Did you know the Soup Kitchen has already been serving guests in the gym? The faith-ful Soup Kitchen volunteers already have a plan to make sure that all guests are fed throughout the changes.

Today, we give thanks both for progress and for those who make accommodations to serve throughout the changes.
