Individual Business GoalsI was originally pre-med in Art-Sci and I simply did not find myself interested in Gen Chem or Lab at all. I switched into the business school because my friends told me that the classes are genuinely interesting and they are motivated to work hard. My goals for the spring semester are mainly to find out what interests me in the business school. As of right now, I am leaning towards finance. From Management 150, I hope to gain a very broad and general knowledge of everything that Olin has to offer. From this course, I hope to gain better group collaboration skills. I do not have much experience working in groups, but I obviously hope to improve that. Management 100 also has a lot of group work and I hope that the two of these classes combined together will give me the necessary skills to optimize my performance when working in groups. As for Olin, I know it has several great professors and resources. I want to learn as much as possible from each guest lecturer and have a general sense of every aspect of the business school. Each professor obviously will give great lectures on their respective topics and if I find their lectures truly interesting, I will sign up for their classes next semester and be able to make a more informed decision on what my major should be.
