This section contains examples of class projects done over the past three years in typography, graphic design, and web design.

Tools: Adobe IllustratorDate: 2013Background: This is a project from my Design 1 class my sophomore year for which I had to design an icon and logo for a fake insect themed company that sold mantis eggs.

Tools: Adobe Illustrator Date: 2014Background: This is a project from my Design III class my junior year for which I had to make a visual representation of information design. With a theme of my choice I recorded myself doing what I considered procrastination and relaxing to see which was a greater waste of time.

Procrastination Poster

Tools: Text Wrangler, Adobe Dreamweaver, Date: 2014Background: This is a screen shot of a website I made (currently still up at the address mctype.com) for my Typography III class my junior year. We were to design a website with hyperlinks to htmls of web design class work. Found at the web address http://mctype.com/

The website has hyperlinks to biographies, pictures, and Q&A’s gathered from the Internet. Found at the address http://mctype.com/catalog/index.html

Tools: Text Wrangler, HTML CSS,Date: 2015Background: I made this website for a fake product as part of my Design IV class. It is promoting a pair of sunglasses which when worn, indicate whether or not an instrument is in tune. We had to apply various traits which would appeal to the target audience. In this case it was struggling musicians.

Tools: Adobe IllustratorDate: 2014Background: This is a sketch I made as an idea for a decal for a car, computer, or any-thing else.

Tools: gouache on Bristol boardDate: 2013Background: I made this poster for my Typog-raphy 1 class during my sophomore year as an exercise to make a composition using one font. I hand painted and traced this image from a com-position I made in InDesign.
