Planned and executed the recovery of a downed CH-53E helicopter that crash landed on the runway in order to alleviate an obstruction to airfield operations aboard Camp Bastion.

Maintained, utilized, and assisted in the retrograde over $10 million in government property, equipment, and assets as the last Marines deployed to Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Planned and supervised several hundred hours of convoy operations and training. Planned and supervised 100 construction/force protections involving the movement of 14 million pounds of

cargo and 10,000 cubic yards of earth. Planned and executed the construction of a consolidated entry control point that reduced manpower

requirements by 50% for all tenant units on the flight line. Earned Brown Belt & Black Belt First Degree, Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for the above actions.

Combat Engineer Platoon Commander Cherry Point, NC May 2013 to Oct 2013I was responsible for the command, training, and wellbeing of 30 Marines within the Platoon; the focus of effort was on construction projects, live fire demolitions ranges, and training in preparation for a combat deployment.

Squadron Training Officer Cherry Point, NC May 2012 to Apr 2013I was responsible for the annual and pre-deployment training requirements for 550 Marines within the Squadron; I was frequently tasked with providing updates, reports, and PowerPoint presentations to the Operations Officer and Commanding Officer. I was also responsible for the Squadron’s Historical and Suicide Prevention Programs.

Maintained $3.5 million worth of equipment for the Squadron’s command and control assets and equipment. Maintained records for the Suicide Prevention Program deemed noteworthy during the Commanding General’s

Readiness Inspection. Assisted in the planning and supervision of 10 Squadron level field exercises. Ranked as the highest Lieutenant in my immediate supervisor’s profile.
