Addendum No. 3 Tender Call No. 75-2017

Q1. Section 3 – Tender Submission Package Statutory Declaration Form with

approximately 9050mm and the depth of the pocket is approximately 1075mm. All dimensions are to be confirmed on site.

Q4. Is the Partition supposed to seal against the face of an Acoustical Pocket

Door, or seal to the back of the Pocket and use a Non-Acoustical Pocket Door to conceal the Panels when not in use?

A4. The partition is to seal against the back of the pocket, with non-acoustical doors to conceal the panels.

Q5. Please clarify if the water connections is done BY CITY FORCES. Please

clarify the extent of the Cash Allowance coverage for the connection to the existing building from the existing 150mm water main on Raoul Wallenberg Road; as shown on drawing 16066-SS “Site Servicing Plan.”

A5. The water connection will not be done by City forces and is part of the Work of this contract. The Municipal water connection portion of the Cash Allowance is for permit and approvals fees. All other work shown on the drawings, including excavation, plugging and abandoning the existing 100mm line, connection of the new 150mm line c/w reducers, road restoration, sidewalk restoration, Re & Re of light pole, benches, flag pole, bollards, planters, etc., is all included in the Work of this contract.

Q6. Please advise exact size of cables required for the new routing of existing

service. Single line diagram shows existing main fused disconnect switch at 400a 3ph 4w from pad mounted utility transformer. Single line diagram also shows existing switchboard at 600a 3ph 4w. Single line diagram also shows existing barry zinkerman amphitheatre fed by 350a-3p breaker. Site plan shows feeder to existing amphitheatre at 3/c teck cable 1kv. Is this a sub-service from main switchboard & does not have to be size according to new codes? Please advise exact size of feeder.

A6. Refer to Electrical Addendum No. E2, dated April 19, 2017, attached (2 pages).

Q7. Please advise exact size of communication cables required for the new

routing of existing service.

Q8. Please provide lose lintel schedule and masonry lateral support as it calls

out in Specs.
