MICS is an integrated compact substation incorporating all the substation equipment which are directly connected with each other and mounted on steel skid-bases. Compact substation can be constructed in a shorter period and will assure lower construction cost while maintaining the same high reliability as the conventional scheme.Digital controlled GIS, MV-Switchgear as well as digital protection equipment are adopted to realize this compact substation.Because it is skid-mounted and pre-fabricated in the factory, site work is limited to the interconnection between the skid-base units. Therefore, the high reliability built in the factory can be maintained.
