Denham's In Brazil June 2009

Ministry News Hello , Its almost Summer !! Well, not here, its justgetting cold. June and July are bitter winters downhere. Just kidding!, last night it got down to 60. Ithought I would just use a photo of the beautifulbeaches here in Brazil, to make you all wish you couldcome down and be with us someday ! We have beenvery busy these last few weeks. So much hashappened since the college conference. I was able totravel to the USA to visit a pastor's conference andshare a little about what God is doing among us. Weare excited to have finished some new books this

month. As many of you know , we arepublishing John Calvin's commentariesinto Portuguese, and this month we justreceived Psalms from the press. Other books this month include acomplete version of Holiness by J.CRyle, as well as the first book inPortuguese of well known author Albert

Mohler. We are excited to introduce his writings toPortuguese readers. The book is called AtheismRemix. Last week we just released our newMobile site, which allows you to placeFIEL content (widget) on your computerdesktop, or in places like Facebooketc... Tools like this are very helpful inbuilding a community of users of soundBiblical content that we trust will help

Family News My sister Faith and my niece Sarah, just arrivedfrom the USA to spend a several weeks with myparents. Mom and Dad are doing great and veryencouraged by their visit. My Father recently had his

82nd birthday ! Heand mom are asource of inspirationto us all ! We havemoved out of theapt building wheremom and dad liveto just a coupleblocks away. We arestill within walking

distance, and are thankful for their willingness toallow us to stay in their old home. The children areenjoying having the extra space. Last week, we hosteda missionary kid named Daniel . He is praying aboutjoining the work in January to be the head of internetministry and strategic resources. He is an answer toprayer as we need more help on our web team. Theneed for new content, and keeping things currenthave gone beyond the capacity of our only IT guy. We

It was a fun day at the poolraces where James is takingswimming. He was such a joyto watch. When he swam to theend of the pool, he kept onkicking, as if he still hadanother 100 yards. He was soexcited to compete, and was soproud to win his first medal.

Lilah

This little flower has been sucha joy to watch. She walksaround the house in hermommy's shoes, and carries apurse when she leaves thehouse. She is all girl, and talksa mixture of Portuguese andEnglish. She has mommy'seyes, and charms all whom shecomes across..

are exited to see how we can use the internet site tospread free resources to hungry readers. Kimberlie has been very busy looking aftereveryone. She has had awonderful opportunity to shareChrist with an american womanhere on business with herfamily. She takes her to themarket, and has helped her getaccustomed to Brazil. She isalways looking for anopportunity to serve people !This weekend this family hasinvited us over for lunch! Pray that the Lord will useus to reach some of these international people whoare also here Brazil.
