The front on the card includes needed information about the child. The other side contains information related to participation in the crusade and follow-up. among the children to encourage goodbehavior, model worship, and developpersonal relationshipswith each child.Altar Workers: Thesevolunteerswill betrained to counselthe children to receivesalvation, sanctification, baptism of theHolyandGhost and to pray with childrenconcerningspecialneeds or problems.Ministry Team: The ministry team willbe responsible for drama, music and themessage. It will include the evangelist,worship leader and those involved inpuppetry, mime, ventriloquism, drama,etc.Transportation Coordinator: Thisperson will enlist people to transportchildrento and from the church.Follow-up Coordinator: This personwill obtain a list ofthe children's names,addresses and phone numbers from theregistration coordinator. He/she willassign follow up of specific children toeachpersonhe enlists. Severalfollow-upattempts should be made through calls,correspondence,and visits.

A theme providescontinuity for eachsession of Kids' Krusade

and creates excitement. Developothetheme fully. Utilize the theme in allpromotions, decorations, name tags,props, presentations, characters,music, Scripture memory work,snacks, give aways, etc.Some themes that appeal to kids:

Western, jungle, space, dinosaur, sports,island, military, auto racing, beach,patriotic, circus, Olympics, holiday

Follow-up or Fail!What makes outreach

effective? Follow-up. Try thesefollow-up ideas to make your Kids'Krusade a lasting success.Follow-up Coordinator: When recruitingstaff for Kids' Krusade be sure you recruitsomeone to be responsible for follow-up.Adopt A Child: Ask each church family to"adopt" one of the unchurched kids whoattended the Kids' Krusade: Give them

necessary information on the child i.e.,birthdate, age, grade, address, phonenumber, interests. Ask them to continuefollow up by providing transportation tochurch, home visits, invitations to familyoutings, remembering birthdays, etc.Family Night:

inviting them to every special children'sevent throughout the year such asChildren's Day, Vacation Bible School,Summer Camp, etc.

Develop a children's crusadeformat that will include elements of

worship, commitment, fun andfellowship.A suggestedformat-

6:45-7:00 Gathering. Children aregreeted by volunteers, receive name tagsand collect points for Scripture memory,etc. at the registration table, then enter the

worship area.7:00-7:10 Welcome. Greet

children, review rules, take offering.Close with prayer for crusade session.7:10-7:20 Presentation related to

evening's theme. Helps children graspsession theme. During this time presentmemory verse through puppet skit, visualaid, song, etc.7:20-7:40 Praise and worship.During this time involve every child in

praise and worship throughmusic. Begin with

worship songs.7:40-8:00 Gospel message. Themessage time should involve several shortobject lessons, gospel illusions, chalktalks, etc. blended together to help thechildren understand the session's theme.

8:00-8:10 Alter Time. During altartime, trained altar workers should counselwith the children.

8:10-8:30 Goodbye time. Ifpossible, move the children into anotherroom for snacks. As children are eating,reward prizes for Scripture verses learned,etc. As the children leave, give everychild asmall reward for attending and aslip of paper containing the verse to bememorized for the next evening.
