The 270*^ Meeting of the Northern Regional Committee (NRC), National Council for Teacher Education was held from 29^ to30^May, 2017 at NRC, NCTE, Jaipur.

CLARIFICATION FROM THE STATE GOVT. OF RAJASTHAN REGARDING NOC FOR SHIKSHASHASTRI COURSE

2. The Committee decided to seek clarification from the State Government of Rajasthan with regard to NOC of the Statefor Shiksha Shastri course in respect of applications received for the academic session 2017-18; as in some cases theinstitutions have applied for Shiksha Shastri course i.e. whether there is any objection with regard to grant of recognitionfor this course in the Tehsils open for B.Ed, course.

With permission of the Chair, Shri Satish Gupta, Regional Director (I/C), NRC & Convener presented the Agenda before theCommittee. Item-wise decisions taken on each agenda item are as under:

• NEC submitted is only in respect of 12800 Sq. Mtr. ofland only.

• The institution has not submitted any proof/evidenceto establish that the Khasra Nos. mentioned in the on

line application measure 5 Acres as per therequirement of NCTE norms.

Hence, show cause notice under Section 14/15 (3)(b) of theNCTE Act, 1993 be issued to the institution to submit replywithin 30 days from the date of issue of show cause notice.

• No yoga mats are available in theinstitution.
