Employee Compensation Package2015-2016

Note:All employee compensation and benefits are subject to annual

review and approval by the Board of Trustees.

Continuing Benefit:

Employees receive free admission to all

home athletic events with the

presentation of an employee badge.

Continuing Benefit:

MISD operates a child care facility for employee’s

children from the ages of 6 weeks through Pre-K.

Daily rates are established annually and are

competitive with local day care facilities.

Continuing Benefit:

Employee reimbursement of unused

state and local leave upon retirement.

Eligibility requirements:

1. Voluntary retirement

2. Advanced written noticeContract employees – 30 days

Non-contract employees – 2 weeks

3. At least five years of continuous service with the district

immediate preceding retirement.

Continuing Benefit:

MISD contributes $225 toward state Health

Insurance plans.

Salary presented is based on daily

rate.

Continuing Benefit:

All eligible MISD employees receive an annual

Retention Stipend paid in November.Eligibility: employed on/before September 1, 2015

and continuously employed through November 20, 2015.

Approved 2015-2016 stipend -- $250.Payments are prorated for employees

considered less than full-time.

Newly Revised

for 2015-2016:

Wellness Center Membership

Annual membership available to all employees at the established annual rate.

Employee -- $20/month

Employee’s Spouse – additional $10/month

Eligible children – additional $10/month

Membership becomes vested after 5 years of continuous payment.

Monthly fees waived for vested membership.

Vested membership continuous for employees who retire

through TRS as a Mabank ISD employee.

Retiree membership level will be the same as selected for the last two years.

Newly Approved

For 2015-2016:

All eligible MISD employees will receive

a Longevity Stipend for the year 2015-2016.Disbursed at the Spring Employee Appreciation Banquet.

Paid to employees upon initially reaching benchmark service year.

Years of service must be consecutive, MISD/TRS equivelant years.

Employees must be employed on April 15, 2016.
