    Overview

    Founded in Fall 2011, officially charted in Fall 2012

    Based at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus

    Open membership, including students/faculty/community

    Primary organization goals include: Create online/offline local community centered around

    League of Legends

    Host events/tournaments to grow interest/player base

    Facilitate involvement with local community events

    Represent the University of Michigan as a leadingnational collegiate organizer within the Riot Gamescollegiate program

    Membership (Part 1)

    Currently no annual membership dues

    Addition to email list, moderated Facebook group

    In-game chat room to find local gaming partners

    Bi-weekly group meetings for free play/workshops

    Offline events subject to online pre-registration

    Event fees are dependent on the event type: Social (bi-weekly group meetings): no charge

    Semi-competitive (all random tournament): up to $10 per person

    Competitive (arranged team tournament): up to $25 per person

    Miscellaneous (trip to MLG event): dependent on interest

    Club takes 15% of admit fees for prizing, room fees, hardwareand other associated costs (i.e. video photographers for events)

    Membership (Part 2)

    Event attendance rewarded with point system

    1 point for attending and participating in an event

    added point for every friend brought to an event

    1 point for participation in marketing/fund-raising

    Points can be redeemed for end-of-year prizes

    Gift certificates to local restaurants/shops Lessons from professional/semi-professional player

    Premier team (A team, 1 team, tryouts required)

    Serves as the premier competitive representativefor the university in online and offline tournamentsand leagues

    Amateur teams (B teams, 1-2 teams, pre-arranged)

    Serve as additional competitive representatives forthe university in online and offline tournaments and

    leagues All teams supervised by MLOL eSports coordinator

    Controls league/tournament registration, scheduling

    Practices/scrimmages arranged within teams

    Exposure to the UM student body (~64k students) as well as visitors from other nearbyMichigan-based colleges and universities (Michigan State, Eastern Michigan, CentralMichigan, Wayne State, Albion College). We also occasionally work with local businessesand charities to help fund raise and co-sponsor events.

    Wide market and media exposure

    Our club has received coverage in the student body newspaper and several videogame-centric news outlets. We circulate material throughout campus via posters, leaflets,emails, social media and word of mouth.

    Real eSports experience

    League of Legends is currently among the most popular games on college campuses.But our officers have long followed eSports from previous games and have direct

    experience in the eSports scene as both players and personnel. We know how to runevents, and guarantee the utmost professionalism from start to finish.

    Work with one of the top League of Legends clubs in the nation

    This summer, our president was directly invited by Riot Games to their first-evercollegiate summit in California as a representative for one of the top 20 League ofLegends clubs in the nation. Partner with us and see what we can do for your brand!
