    Father John will present a teach-ing on this ancient form of prayerand meditation on Sacred Scrip-ture. It is possible to reap manybenefits from this form of prayer,which is easy to learn and spiritu-

    ally enriching. This is an excellentway to begin the new Church year.

    St. John the Baptist Church in Manywill hold an Advent Mission led by Fr.Jim Sichko of the Diocese of Lexington,

    Kentucky, Sunday through Tues-day, December 5-7 from 7:00-8:00pm each evening. Fr. Sichko, an ex-

    ceptional homilist, is a dynamic, high-energy speaker.His talks are spiritual and uplifting. Everyone is in-vited to attend and to join Fr. Jim afterwards for a so-cial in the St. Johns cafeteria. For more information,call the church office at 256-5680.
