Basic Facts: Math Bingo

This basic math fact app is geared for younger students.

Students can practice the 4 basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division individually or mixed altogether, within the framework of a fun-filled Bingo game!

Puzzle: 6 Numbers

I absolutely LOVE this puzzle game and play it all the time!

You are given 6 numbers and another target number. Using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the 6 numbers, you need to reach the target number.

Talk about addicting!

Content Beyond Whole Numbers: Khan Academy

As we have seen in this class, Khan Academy is an excellent resource for knowledge.

The Khan Academy app is a great way to access the Khan resources on your phone. It gives direct access to the video lessons.

It is easy to use and can keep track of apps you have watched, which earns students points on their Khan accounts.

Tool: Quick Graph

This is a fantastic graphing app!

Users can change colors of graphs (to allow for multiple functions at once).

The interface is very easy to use and includes every type of function you could imagine.

The app also allows for polar and parametric coordinates, for Calculus 2 and 3 content.

Tool: MyScript Calculator

This is a very cool scientific calculator app.

Students write on the screen, and the app translates their handwriting into typed-out notation (see the first screen on the screenshot to the right).
