Comparison of 2007 & 2008

Although significantly different rules, behaviour of applicants was similar:

• Average applications increased 3.7 to 5.2• Geography less important than speciality• Less than 10% of applicants apply to only one UoA• In 2007, 23% and in 2008, 43% applied to

more than one specialty• Fill rate similar
