Scottish Power – Pre-Apprenticeship Programme

This electrical engineering course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to join Scottish Power as an Apprentice on their Apprenticeship Programme. The course is based in both the workshop and classroom ensuring you get a combination of practical and technical skills providing an introduction to the knowledge and skills needed for either an apprenticeship or higher-level studies in Electrical Engineering. You will receive a Safety Passport and gain Emergency First Aid qualifications as part of your programme.

As part of the course you will attend training sessions with Scottish Power at their training centre and at the end of the course may be offered a place on their apprentice programme.

You will receive a monthly allowance of £200 as a contribution towards travel and any course expenses.

If you are highly motivated and have a willingness to learn with a positive attitude, this course could be ideal for you.
