1st July to 10th July

• 1st July: Dr. Nitin Joshi had meeting with the heads of the Institute regarding “The use of technology”.

• 1s t July: Research paper written by Prof. Mahesh Bhanushali is accepted for publication in Scopus indexed Journal “Journal of computational and theoretical Nanoscience”, American Scientific publishers, having H index 43.


• 2nd – 6th July: Dr. Nitin Joshi and Dr. Arloph Johnvieira attended a 5 day workshop on Universal Human Values conducted by AICTE -Western Region.


• 2n d July: Dr. Smita Jape along with ADC Members finalised allocation of subjects to teaching faculty for PGDM as well as MMS Course.


• 3rd July: Prof. Mahesh Bhnaushali successfully placed following candidates for internship opportunity in 'Dainik Bhaskar' for Data Analytics and operations profile.

• 3rd July: Dr. Arloph Johnvieira released Brims Connect e-Magazine June issue of 52 pages and circulated to all students and faculty members.


• 4th July: A webinar on Goal setting was organized at DR VN BRIMS. Dr. Nitin Joshi was the speaker of the webinar and the session was moderated by Prof. Kanchan Akshay.


• 4 t h July to 9 t h August : SCM online course of 5 weeks is conducted by the team of Dr. Arloph Johnvieira, Prof Mahesh Bhanushali and Prof Vibhuti Save. The coordination is done by Ms Darshan Koli .


• 5th July: Dr. Smita Jape successfully conducted online MDP training programme for employees of Sparsh Fabric on “Understanding Financial Statements and decision making”. Total 30 Participants participated including 3 Directors and members from different verticals such as from Marketing, Accounts, Plant Head and Billing department. The training programme was appreciated by all participants including Mr Vikas Todi , Director Sprash Fabric


• 6th July: Prof. Mahesh Bhanushali successfully placed Mr. Ajay Jaiswal from PGDM Finance in eclerx.

• 7th -18th July: Prof. Vibhuti Save completed IMC RBNQA Trust - CEQM Refresher Course. After completion of refresher course, she has received one assessment opportunity from RBNQA


• 9th July: Faculty Members attended the demo by MICROSOFT TEAM on Microsoft Team software.

• 10th July: A finance Quiz was organized by Prof. Siddhesh Soman for all finance students. Total 63 students participated in the activity.

• 10 t h July: Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra along with students organized Online BRIMS Connect.

11th July to 20th July

• 11th July: Dr. Nitin Joshi had a meeting with the Chairman at his residence.

• 11th July: Faculty members attended Eduzilla training and a session on students engagement for online learning.

• 13th July: Prof. Krunal K Punjani prepared a video on “How to Finalize Research Topic for Quality Research Paper, for UGC/ Scopus/ ABDC listed Journals - a 5 Steps Process" .


• 14th July: Prof. Mahesh Bhanushali successfully placed following five candidate in a well known e-commerce giant ‘Flipkart’ with the package of 3.5 Lakhs for the core operations and supply chain profile-

• 14th July: Dr. Smita Jape received certificate for completion of Advanced Excel course fromUdemy


• 16th July: Prof. Mahesh Bhanushali has successfully completed 8 days FDP course on innovation and entrepreneurship from IIT Kharagpur. He also Qualified the examination with 70%. His Idea on mobile application for ‘Instant Order Booking for Channel Partners in FMCG’ has also received appreciation from IIT.


• 17th -24th July: Dr. Smita Jape along with IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) members organized an online Talks Series of Industry experts for our students on the theme “Campus to Corporate - A career path ahead”.


• 20th July: Dr. Nitin Joshi delivered a Career management Counselling session organized by Rotary on “Craft your Career”.


• 20th July: Dr. Smita Jape is appointed as reviewer for two years by International Journal of Finance and Accounting which is ABDC listed Journal

• 20th July: Prof. Krunal K Punjani prepared a video on "How To Write Introduction for Quality Research Paper, for UGC/ Scopus/ ABDC listed Journals - a 4 Steps Process" .

21st July to 31st July

• 21st July: International Journal invited Dr. Smita Jape to be reviewer for the International Journal Of Finance and Banking which is ABDC listed journal


• 24th July: Prof. Mahesh Bhnauhali and the IQAC team organized the guest/interaction session of Ms. Usha Udupa, Regional Head, VIP Industries for MMS and PGDM students. Our two Alumni Mr. Suraj Chavan and Mr. Mayur Kamble were also invited for the session. Prof. Mahesh Bhanushali moderated the session. It was a very insightful session where alumni also shared their journey with VIP.


• 27 t h July: Prof . Krunal K Punjani prepared a video on "Understanding Originality for Quality Research Paper, for UGC/ Scopus/ ABDC listed journals -7 Techniques”.

• 28th July: MMS student Kanti Raut under guidance of Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra participated in a Case Study competition organized by IIT.


• 30th July: Prof. Krunal K. Punjani attended 4 days FDP on "Demystifying Literature Review Techniques" by Dr. Sreejesh S. Pillai from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode and Dr. RPS Kaurav from Prestige Institute of Management, Gwalior.

• 30th July: Faculty Meeting was held.


• 31st July: A team of First year MMS students Poorva Ajgaonkar, Revati Padature, Sayali Palav, Sayali Walanj, Adiba Mukadam, Tanvi Kolte & Sonia Verma prepared 'Idea', 'Proof of Concept' and 'Prototype' document under the guidance of Prof. Krunal K. Punjani for the MHRD IIC National Innovation Contest and relevant details of the same were uploaded on MHRD IIC Webportal.

• Prof. Krunal K Punjani, Dr. Smita Jape, Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra, Prof. Mahesh Bhanushali, Prof. Vibhuti Save & Prof. Sandeep Moghe - The IIC team of BRIMS, organized 'InnoBiz' - Innovation Competition (July), coordinated with Mentors to get their Solution Notes and also coordinated with the Senior Judges Panel to evaluate all the teams.
